It's pretty good i'm in the middle for replaying the first game now.
JRPG made by Gust, in the same vein as Atelier Iris and Mhana Kehmia in terms of plot and mechanics but with more romance focus.
There are 3 games. They play as turn based JRPGs with dating sim elements and multiple endings good and bad.
The main focus are girls called Reyvateils who are something between homunculus and androids.
Magic in the world is a combination of singing and computer programming, they sing songs to execute programs and cast spells. Because of that the games all have really good soundtracks, some of my favorites among all games.
The girls are all kind of crazy in different ways and you occasionally warp inside their heads to try to sort out their issues. Usually you have 2 mains to choose with route splitting at some point and a third introduced late game.

The first 2 games are for PS2 and are mostly pretty serious.
Second is probably the best in the series.
For some reason the 3rd game (for PS3) adds a bunch of really in your face ecchi fan-service elements which I think are kind of stupid and make it harder to take seriously (and i'm used to that kind of stuff) but the overall story is pretty good still if you don't mind that.

There are also a couple newer games, ar nosurge and another I haven't tried set in the same world.

Game in OP's pic is from that brief period in the 90s in which some romance games were actually games. Kakyuusei doesn't have pre-scripted stories to read; you make your own story as you play. There's pre-scripted mini-events of course, but they aren't part of an over-arching plotline, so more like events in Princess Maker or some 4X game.
Kakyuusei's a simpler game than TokiMemo that it's clearly inspired by, but I really love the feeling of romance progress Kakyuusei has, the whole post-date "I wonder how far I can push touching her this week" physicality escalation is great.

Sadly the sequel is a 21st-century game and pushes more in the direction of pre-crafted stories, for some of the girls at least, though it's still mechanically the same.

Tamura's new Cotton art is really good, it was kinda funky when he got back to work on the series with Reboot but the art he made for High Tension is superb.
