>Every game worth playing will run 60 fps on decade old hardware
Only if it gets ported to that hardware. Most current gen games don't get ported to last gen consoles even when they run on comparable PCs just fine by turning down the graphics.
>its really just being a cuck working for free to fix someone's shitty game for them
Not really. Mods aren't just used for fixing broken games. They can also add content or improve already good games. Just because you don't personally care about them doesn't mean they're not a selling point to others.
>I wouldn't because they have nothing worth playing
Based, but in that case, why not use a PC? It has a larger library of old games than any console.
>I.e. nearly all of them
Kind of a personal preference thing. Most games play at least equally well on kbm as controller, and many play better because you have more buttons and can map actions to buttons that on controller would be behind a menu, like switching weapond. If a game plays equally well on both, I'd rather use kbm, you'd rather use controller. Neither is right or wrong. Just preference.
>To actually own games physically
And how does that matter? You might own the physical piece of plastic, but your ability to actually play the game is purely at the mercy of sony, ms or nintendo. On PC, Valve can't take my games away because I can back them up.
>Lol
Yes it is. It's not quite as good, but 99% of games will just work with sane default controls and graphics when you click play. Even on Linux due to Proton. It's up to you if you want to tinker beyond that.
