After watching the clip, I can confirm that I have been in an scenario eerily similar to this, which is what the writers of this show seem to really do well in (as in: making the characters seem like they would have real dialog and conversations).

The more videos get uploaded the higher quality the watermark gets with more fluent animation, some 3D stuff, and half-decent voice imitations of Smiling Friends characters commenting on it. It's becoming increasingly likely that it's a high-effort shitpost by someone who works on the show, especially with the start of this season where new animation and voice acting is being added to clips of episodes that released days or even hours after release. Season 1 is like a proof of concept, it's fairly good, the real novelty is that some animators you like managed to get a show. It's the feeling that a Flash cartoon you liked got an extended version, and maybe they're not quite used to making that much content in such a short time, so some of the premises or scenes are a little contrived, but you can see what makes it what it is, even if characters like Allen and Glepp are underutilized.
Season 2 is when they really got into a rhythm and started shoveling out gold, there was a lot more experimental animation and guest animators too. By now they're used to the format and are able to really make use of the allotted run time and episode count, and other characters and character combinations beyond Charlie and Pim get more attention.
Season 3 has been more experimental in terms of writing, having episodes that are a bit more devoid of comedy in exchange for atmosphere and character-driven stories, like the Mr. Frog and Halloween episodes. The animation on average has improved even further from season 2, the Halloween episode in particular was stand out, but I wouldn't say it's gotten to quite the level of season 2's guest animators every other episode.

The halloween episode sucks because it's so obvious it's just Pim's imagination and it was so obvious so early on

I think most people say about 11/12 is when the series starts to dip a bit. When it fully moves to TBS, it sort of has problems with grounding itself and it's kind of up to you at that point if you like the absurdism that they leaned towards works or not. Please take a step back and look at you having a meltdown because the show did a silly thing talking about Super Monkey Ball, if you didn't laugh, then you didn't find it funny. I didn't find it all that funny myself but I still enjoy the show. Even if you don't enjoy the show, that's fine too. In all seriousness, you’ll find so many of these “just leave it in the final cut” type of moments in old hollywood, but it comes off as being incredibly obnoxious and pretentious. They really thought the dumbest shit happening while filming was worth leaving in the final cut. It lead to the most hubristic scenes in movies. It’s like they thought people wouldn’t look back on that shit and go “yeah, this pretty much ruined to movie”. It’s a product of ego while on set and doesn’t do any of the job that they set out to do while creating a movie which was to encapsulate some sort of vision. You see Actors practically break character and do the dumbest shit for a poorly shot scene. It’s fucking pathetic. I would love the opportunity to fire someone because they tried pulling some stupid shit on set. Actors get their pay deducted for holding up production.
