Sometimes unions are completely unneeded and obnoxious red tape getting in the way of people needing to do their jobs but good unions are a Godsend industries where they would have people work 60-70 hour weeks like 15/h if they could. On the flipside unions can stop even the most indept lazy retards from getting fired even for the largest blunders thus making the whole team weaker and having others pick up the slack. At my place 20 bucks a week is a small price to pay when my health insurance through the union is actually 70 bucks a month cheaper than my average health plan. The people who think unions are either "le bad" or "a complete must in all industries" are brainlets with no life experience.

What's the deal with American's opposing unions? I've joined the union in every workplace I've been in and they've fought to get me better wages, chased people down to make sure I was given the proper equipment, uniform, tools, representation if I'm ever meeting with management and want a third party involved, lower level management have even encouraged me to involve the union if I'm meeting with THEM because they're members too and want to make sure i'm being represented fairly. Adding to my post here to elaborate some. I was pro union before I became a manager. This is generally going to happen to anyone, you're essentially changing to the enemies team. However, I'm no longer a manager and I still do not like unions. The entire time I was a manager at that warehouse, the only people who needed union representation was lazy niggers who didn't follow the rules. I am a manager of a retail store with a union, and I hold team members accountable for their work and attendance. More importantly, my employees can collectively bargain for better wages and working conditions.
