Age of Calamity really benefitted from the marketing of being a prequel that explores the Great Calamity. But after the time travel shenanigans of AoC and the admittedly boring side story of TOTK, Age of Imprisonment has an uphill battle. While i would like that because it'd guarantee the IPs' safety i don't think they would because while Level 5 has celar Nintendo DNA (as Nintendo calls it) their IP catalogue is redundant

Fantasy Life and Layton would be okay, but i doubt Nintendo would promote Yokai Watch too hard since Pokemon is stronger than ever now (exception maybe being the OG Pokemania) and Inazuma Eleven is too big to manage and is limited to very few avenues for games (sports rpgs and football games, stuff Nintendo already does on their own with half the hassle and triple the profit)

I'd like Nintendo to buy Way forward or Inticreates, their games are faster and snappier than Ninty's own platformers and they have small IPs that could easily get huge boosts from some extra free marketing (via directs) and could even be grafted seamlessly in some of Nintendo's smaller stuff too (think Shantae and Starfy for instance, who could integrate almost seamlessly)

When making a sequel to BT3 in current year you have 2 options:
Making a game with a smaller roster that's balanced and fit for online play
or
Making a game that has a huge roster on par with or more than BT3 but lacking in balance (like BT3 was)
