The issue is, LL is the game that made him well known in the first place. DP is okay, but it's nowhere near the quality or aesthetic of LL. He had been teasing new scenes and interactions for a long time now and then all of the sudden he decides the game is on infinite hiatus. Truth was that he was more than likely milking the fans for as long as he could before trying to get them to transition to DP instead. It sucks that there's been no copycats because LL is really the best of its genre. I bought both DP and LL to support the devs a few months before they decided to drop the infinite hiatus.

As far as I've seen, the idiot is more focused on adding a fucking battle mechanic and story to DP instead of improving the thing everyone is there for. Yet another story of a dev that doesn't understand the reason behind his success. At least the squid guy is still grinding. He's the only guy who seems to have stuck to his project goals.
