The event was literally SU housekeeping. They were sweeping up plot points that were going nowhere or that they didn't know what to do with, or that needed correcting.
The Heretics and Inherit were not serving any purpose, so they've been removed.
Marian has been passed over for the SKKbowl and her plot had turned aimless, so she has also been removed.
Pioneer have not been very special or powerful for a long time now due to powercreep; they will now be re-released with new meta alts.

In hindsight, I don't think Cinderella's offensive capability is what the Queen is afraid of. Every single Nikke she's been attacking this event she's been either dealing good damage to or outright killing. But from what we saw in Old Tales, thanks to the regenerative powers corruption gave to Anachiro, Cinderella was able to take a hit from the Queen's laser and appear completely unscathed in its aftermath, just blasted out the station. That's regeneration on par with hers.
Basically, Cinderella might not be able to outright kill her, but she can put the queen in an eternal stalemate.

I like the idea of the Queen being incredibly risk averse. It kind of mirrors Nayuta's situation where the constant stream of information and knowledge of unknowns basically keeps her out of the frontlines until she's 100% certain of victory. It's why she prolonged the seige on Eden when she could have coordinated a strike to steamroll them sooner and why she ran away as Lilith at the slightest injury. It also helped give a false sense of hope during the event because multiple people kept talking shit about her.
