Am I the only person who still thinks episode 1 is one of the very best? Absolutely not. Pman is fucking busted because his only downside is that he'll failure spiral if you start to suck. He alone can cover most combat missions, which means you can spec the rest of the team into mental stats without being gimped because he has like a 3 second rest time and has a free flight license off the bat, and then is even more broken when he gets trained and you give him the ability to half the rest time of whoever goes with him. The complete lack of downtime from Pman enables you to have whoever you need for the rest of the missions available 95% of the time with the only real problem being you're wasting XP on him until episode 6 where the level cap goes above his starting level. Waterboy's abilities are trash, either healing people which is useless if you don't take injuries or making him slightly better if you don't assign him to missions personally which is nice and all but means he's warming the bench until he decides he's ready which means you're unable to plan around him as much.

For you next playthrough focus on Flambae training first and get him Supernova because it boosts his Attack and Speed to MAX and let's you only focus on giving him Toughness because of his synergy with Prism you don't have to worry about Charisma and Intelligence.
Then as your second character you should train Golem to have Spread thin ability that lets him solo 4 slot calls. Him and Invisigal can complete pretty much any 4 slot calls together.
Ooh, and yeah if you have to choose between Sonar and Coupe, only focus one of them and give Sonar the flight license if you're going to keep him. He's the only character that gains a unique ability to carry other heroes to their destination, while Coupe and Flambae only upgrade their own speed.

Honestly, I would rather give Prism extended time on calls, because the half boost she already gives is good enough and it only gets better with your heroes ranking up. Because there will be times when you need those few extra seconds for the right hero to come out of rest. Also don't make a same mistake I made and be unable to train Flambae when he's missing after you reveal that you're Mecha Man. I've literally had every single hero upgraded except him and couldn't give him the training because he wasn't there. So, yeah, you better give him the training as early as you can.
