It depends on the scenario.
If it's the original scenario we're talking about, I honestly have no fucking idea. The entire concept is too dense to work as anything other than a visual novel. Maybe a really long adventure game where you can explore Hinamizawa would work, but you'd have to abridge quite a lot of the story.
My idea would be to go full looper and make it a roguelike where you have to socially engineer various events as Rika to try and reach the best outcome. That would be interesting but a nightmare from a dev perspective.
So I guess I don't know.

Ogimachi is flooded buy tourists yes (most of which are Chinese) but not necessarily because of the series. That village is famous world heritage site. That being said, if you want to visit, I recommend to stay overnight in Shirakawa. The bugman buses leave around 4 pm and you have a few hours of sunshine to explore everything almost alone.

Despite the stereotypes, Japanese people are genuinely super sweet and kind especially if you speak the language, the exception is their old people.
They wear their looks of sheer contempt openly and laugh about you to their friends. They always go quiet once I talk back to them though.

It's unfortunate anon but the truth is that /07/th has been dying ever since Sotsu ended. A lot of old fans and posters decided to never come back after seeing first hand how much Ryukishi hated them, and the ones that did remained either did so out of being consumed with grief and hate or to simply jerk off to the characters with other anons.

Sotsu ended over 4 years ago. The only ones who bother to post now are anons who can't move on or newfags, the only way to revive the threads in a decent way is to create but it seems like most anons don't see a point in even trying to create something for this series anymore. Ryukishi has done some serious damage to this community, don't worry though he'll come crawling back ready to defile this series legacy once again when he's in desperate need for money and then the threads will become lively again

I like the original art of Higurashi (especially Takano and Mion) but I think Umineko had too many characters to maintain a consistent sense of quality. The inconic main characters like Battler, Beatrice, and Erika look good but way too many look pretty shitty, like Virgilia, Gaap, Gertrude, etc.

Heavily disagree. The very notion of Rika wanting to leave the village to go to fucking St.lucia was utterly brain dead and the entire idea that Satoko has grown so dependent on ONLY Rika and only seems to care for Rika is complete garbage. Not to mention how Satoko is canoncially smarter than Rika so her being unable to study is also wrong.

If for some reason Satoko and Rika did end up going to that school and Keiichi and Shion didn't go charging in there to burn the school down and take Satoko back then Satoko would much more likely to just off herself than to murder Rika and her friends. The entire plot was just forced garbage because Ryukishi is a fucking pussy hack who can only get his ideas from his fans.

I think he did only just outline the general storyline for it and left the animation studio to actually carry it out and they contributed a lot to it being shit. Funny thing is, /07/th didn't die from Sotsu. It died from a group of anons so mindbroken by it that they decided to turn the thread, and their interpretation of a 25 year old work, into their hill to die. Changes and conflicts that reflect poorly (or even differently) on the characters they've spent years idolizing infuriate them.

It's a prime example of stagnation. Hatred of the author ensures that anything new introduced to the ecosystem is forced out - all so they can make more room to play dollhouse with the festering corpses still stuck in Higurashi.
