I finally got a good Taiki. It's my first S rank as well. Since I'm no longer using the FM SSR I can't get Speed Star, which I still think is a nice skill for this track as you can try to carry its speed boost into the last spurt. I did somehow get a lucky Groundwork inheritance though, so getting blocked shouldn't be a big issue, and this could also save It's On for overtaking one of the weaker fronts on the final corner which again could let her carry the speed into the last spurt.

Focus on unity mechanics early on. It's fine to burst nukes on stats that aren't your primary goal. Once your training levels are high (usually in senior year) you focus more on rainbows to raise your target stats.

Ryan it's a pain in the ass, you have to baby sit her the whole fucking run and even if you have great stats, she will STILL fuck up and it doesn't matter what damn running style you put her in.

I'm not saying she has the WORST career, but she's certainly not fun to train up regularly. You do it long enough and the cracks start to show, but I've ALWAYS had a shit time training her. You got some good sparks right away. But imagine if you didnt and you had to do that 30 more times and in that time she actually fucking jobbed multiple times, wasting your fucking energy. Since the biggest SFV buffs is the duration, even it activates before the late-race, SFV is still in activation, thus giving you earliest accel, albeit with shorter duration.

I don't buy it. Everyone who has played the game before says it's a low point for a number of reasons. I'll take their word for it. Unity was supposed to be fun, and it is, but it's still put a strain on people in tandem with the accelerated schedule.
