The last decade I was in a constant rush. Always hungry for that sweet dopamine rushing through me when finishing achivements in fast paced online games. Skipping any story content because all I want was to unlock skins and get better ranks. Addictive and just amazing. Watching a movie at night? Nah, that online game offers a better feel. Going to bed at 2 night and wake up for work early morning, who cares lol.

But then I started refelcting that lifestyle. What have I earned from it all those years? Nothing basically. Once the next hype game comes out, all my previous achivements collecting dusk. Then I forced myself to do a break from these. Playing through all the Yakuza games. Really difficult because there is literally only story and no dopamine. Now I only play 1 or 2 hours max because then I lose motivation. But I ENJOY the stories. I learned to enjoy again. Also regular watch movies now on my OLED on the sofa. I'm not sure if it's healthier now, I still miss my gaming nights, but I feel that it's better in the long run.
