Being pedantic for a sec here but it's literally uncompletable because while the Galaxy, Ares and Orion maps are visible, they're literally 'not in the game yet' due to time constraints/are the big patch for DEC/JAN and probably FEB. I'm also the anon from another thread who asked about beans along with characters randomly getting +1 to a stat(s) after a match. Someone said it was tied to the skill tree, but I can confirm that's not the case. Beta went up one level in the previous match, which unlocked her second skill, and also got a +1 to kick. There is no +kick node between her previous node and the skill node. She also only gained one level, which wouldn't be enough to hit two nodes.

It might be something that pops up after matches when players automatically equip beans that you've earned, as I haven't found the setting to disable that. It's about the only thing that makes sense.

for those grinding chronicles I recommend doing focus battles more in match to get beans

Im not sure if it's just Beta that's fucked or if it's everyone but if you use her do not use Mode Change or she completely breaks and i'm pretty sure she also managed to break my legendary Kinako. The Beta and Kinako both cant turn armored keshin on. Then I leveled another Beta to see if it's every character but that one works.

If you use Beta's mode change it turns her keshin into armor no matter what you selected but if you use it the animation is fucked and the move does nothing. If you use armor and then use mode change she literally completely breaks and cant even interact with the ball once armor ends.

The FIRST Inazuma eleven was like a 20hrs romp that wasn't really designed arround replayability (recruiting a player removed them from CPU matches, so cheesing the final boss team by recruiting both keepers was a valid strategy)
After that every game expanded exponentially with an stupid amount of post game teams. This one is not only an original anime length story, but it also has a mode where you go through every match in the franchise at least twice (one recreating the canon match, other with your original team)
This franchise only works if you're into STUPID grinding, like, obscene grinding, autistic even

There is 8 chapters to the main story, but you don't really know how long each chapter is going to be. I think Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 are going to be long chapters by themselves because that seems to be when the game is completely open. My assumption is that the main story is 40-50 hours. Chronicle Mode isn't even done because they are introducing more through free updates, but that in its current form is probably 50+ hours as well.

Played against some random in an online match who must have funneled so much XP into his OC since his team level was only one above mine but his OC had focus att/def values in the 600, while there were other players who only had double digits. Basically anytime that player got the ball, he'd score. It's too bad the tactic card I got at the start meant I'd win all focus battles for 20 seconds when I used it.

I just had to utilize that card to avoid his OC rushing me and plow through his relatively weak defenders and got the first goal, after which we went goal for goal. He never wised up to my strategy of immediately passing the ball to my defenders and then cutting up the side his OC wasn't on. You get an absurd amount of XP from doing ranked matches, by the way.

My only real complaint is that it seems like the CPU has infinite tension, which makes players with long shot-type skills that can be used during skirmishes cancerous. One story mode is a fully new story with a new cast that takes place a long time after the original (Endou's kid is a character in it, for reference), it's long as hell but it takes a while to get to the sakka. The other story mode is more like an arcade mode with a sort of thin overarching time travel plot where you go through the major matches of every game.

How is the feel of the possession gameplay? My friend has been playing the first game and is a big fan of the cut-ins for tackles, dribbling, interrupted skills, intercepted passes and all that, but the only footage of Victory Road I could find with actual football gameplay was a year-old demo match played by a shitter, and all that seemed gone and largely replaced by the weird hover-hands interception.

You can also bypass them if you're good enough with movement since quick actions have prio over the focus trigger unless you're using the focus circle

Lazy as it was to give all 15 optional members reskin hissatsu, I appreciate how they all have voice clips for both those and the second move they learn leveling up.
