people keep saying all the writing in the last two episodes were a total mess but honestly I thought it was fine, everything flowed naturally and made sense (as long as you consider that someone in a situation like Courtney is going to make nonsensical decisions, anyway.)
really the only thing that doesn't make sense and actively hurts the narrative is the whole "she was working for me the whole time" thing. I have to assume Shroud just meant that Courtney was working for him since returning to the team during this final showdown, or that he thought he was clever and that she hadn't already revealed that she planted the bomb. And even then it only really works if she was trying to play at being a triple agent. Or if you fucked up and got the villain ending, I guess. Either way, if the implication is that she's actually been a mole since episode 1 then it really tanks the whole thing.

They're finally doing well, their future prospects look positive for once an they've clearly decided to work to benefit the group and have all personally grown and learned to hold in their base instinct to fucking ruin everything.

bruh. it can literally just be explained that he felt bad for IG for his outburst you could argue that some members MIGHT feel bad about it but the zteam and chase are not THAT close and have no reason to be that close aside from your reasoning of "he rescued IG". they have had literally one "good" interaction with the guy (the party) he was literally ready to throw them all back to prison before robert came in just that week.
this is the problem with the writing since it really needed 2-4 more episodes to flesh characters out. everything felt rushed.
