Is edo pro a good alternative to play the new cards? I’m looking at omega, too

How do maliss cards work can you only special summon them exactly when they are banished? Since the cards say "if" and not "when" I thought you could just activate them whenever, that makes the deck play different than I thought it did and make limits down to 1 more intense since you can't just use them as fuel from the banish pile the next turn

It really depends on what the shuffler usely gives you, do it like you want. Personally I also use Evenly Matched because the card is always in my starting hand no matter the deck. Streamers always open Raigeki or Dark Hole so they play around it.

No need to 100% solo mode, there's too much to do starting from right now, so just ignore the accessory rewards you won't use and you can always get them later.

I get you but it's not just that Mikanko is weaker but rather that it's too unwieldy compared to how convenient it is for Tenpai to OTK so it feels like a bigger gap than just playing one combo deck vs another.
Tenpai is basically designed around needing just 1 card to kill you so it doesn't matter if the rest of your hand is board breakers meanwhile Mikanko will want the right combination of multiple engine cards while also needing your opponent to have something worth attacking into on top of board breakers.

Is there a way I can recover? I'm honestly considering just dropping the game between the fucking duel strategies 2 and how much of a chore it is to do anything, that being said I've stuck it through and completed them all instead of just quitting so I enjoy the game enough to at least persevere through that. Shadowverse comes out in 5 days but there's no guarantee that'll have the same "spark" as the first game did.

I bought some of the bundles but yeah it was all master packs. I asked a few times what deck I should make for my first one and got no response so I went with "I like the look of these cards" and attempted to craft that. Most of the cards said they only came from the master pack and nothing else so I just sent it. It seems the blunder was quite large and likely crippled me for the foreseeable future....unless I start swiping but that doesn't really help me getting the missing URs now does it?

All of the bundles are worth it, ten master packs for 750 gems with one UR on top is good value, beyond that, NEVER buy master packs; if you craft SR/UR cards you will unlock secret packs for 1 day, also, if you do it for the first time they give you one pack for free, go search a guide for which cards to craft and have fun.

You can do that if you want the cards from the current packs, IE the selection packs. Master packs have almost every single card in the game and there are over 10,000 cards in the game. They're only worthwhile if they come with the bundles, and even then only if you actually plan to use that bundled card.

If you want Live Twins you should craft 1 copy of Sunny's Snitch to unlock the Live Twin secret pack then pull from that so you can actually pull some of the URs instead of having to dismantle 3 random pieces of shit from master packs to craft each one.

I guess your main point of confusion is that YGO has a LOT of generic staples that is good to use in every deck, and considering around half of your decks are staples, you got the wrong impression that most of your deck requires pulling from master pack.
Here, I've marked which one's the staples from your deck.
Prioritize pulling/crafting non-staples in your deck because you can substitute the staples with either lesser but cheaper staples, or more cards from your main archetype.

I guess you can still kinda recover somewhat, what's with the event currently going on and all. but if your account is truly fresh, I say starting over is faster.

Why is Branded so strange to play.
The concept of throwing away my big wyrm to make another one goes against my brain wiring. The weird ass loops that I see people pull are beyond me and remind me of the weird shit that I tried to learn with Ritual Beast, another deck that I just wasn't able to play at all and required a PHD to run. It's just complicated and convoluted for what should by all means be a simple beginner friendly deck
I'd say that I regret making the deck, but I'm sure that is two years Branded will get more support that will powercreep the deck further and hopefully normalize the deck so regular human beings can play it without needing a spreadsheed

Materiactor is so fun to play but they are terrible pure. I can't decide whether i they work better with goblin bikers or tenpai. Goblins are THE rank3 engines while tenpai synergise well because most of their monsters are lv3 and they can search out zeptowing(materiactor's best starter) and can close out most games by themselves

you are gonna have to practice in solo mode a bit before you are used to the lines. mikanko is a go second deck whose win condition is attaching an equip spell to your monster and attacking to it to reflect damage. it's more like a go second yubel

If you're running a deck that can make use of monster cards in the backrow, you can also use the links' equip effects to send for cost, or as mats for summoning snake eyes doomed dragon.

Real easy once you have the cards glowing in front of you DESU, it's always just

There is other recent videos if you want to slop it up but this video is for pure white forest azamina. The other methods with millenium and fiendslop give you more protection against handtraps and they are better variants sadly. I don't think Centurion WF is popular but I'm sure you can find something about it too.

We went from 3 card combos (2013-2017 or so) to 2 card combos (e.g. drytron, vw) to 1 card combos to multiple 1 card combos in the same deck so this was bound to happen.

Transcode is the only flex card there, you can run link spider or almiraj instead I prefer transcode but none of the options are wrong.
