According to the poll virtually everyone has more than 8GB VRAM. The application stack will consume about 5GB of VRAM while running leaving 3GB for the game you're running. You can probably even have your browser and other applications open. Sadly for the best version I managed to shave it down in size somewhat but it's still about 16GB of VRAM. This means that you can only use it for lightweight 2D games and you will have to close browsers and other applications to use it.

The 5GB version will be just as good as the 16GB version in translating, but it has way less knowledge of niche topics so it might not understand the cultural context of a term like mesugaki (it actually does understand mesugaki specifically but it might not understand other things)

I will really grind at it this weekend and I will release it probably the weekend after it.

Unfortunately no. It's just a bad scene hunter. I recommend you get the AI TL with a full save, but first start the game normally and advance whatever heart event you want to see first, just one stage or two. Don't take too long. Once you see the first part, load the full save and see just how quickly everything develops. It's all totally pointless. It's an amusement park type game where you pick your favorite ride (scene) and alt+f4 once you're done.

Is anyone else having issues with the DazedAnon TL for RJ01212853? None of the dark attacks in the MGC_ElementalPack folders can load their animations. I've been able to circumvent it so far but I'm stuck on the shadow goddess fight since she always opens with this attack. I can't figure out what the issue is, I checked the folder and the file is in there and named properly.

If anyone is also translating games via AI MTL, I can share an interesting trick - if you add (female), (male), (male orc), (female alien), etc. after names by replacing each of them in the sent text, and add "SpeakerName: " before the line itself and then strip those after receiving the replies, it'll no longer make he/she errors in 99% of cases, producing much better lines.

Just look in the files and copy the most similar looking one to the filename it expects. If there's a ton of these errors for different images then figure out how you corrupted it and fix it, but if it's just one or two then copy in a dummy image to avoid the error

NTFS is case sensitive but the Windows APIs for working with files will try to stop you from doing stupid shit like creating two filenames that only differ in casing, and it will also try to do a case insensitive match when opening a file by path. You can still have files with names that only differ in case if you get them from somewhere else (like an extracted zip), and you can also make them by using lower level system APIs.
But RPGMaker opening files should have case-insensitive behavior because it's going through the high level API layers that provide that.
