This basically means that with aerover, you can substitude Cia with any unit who applies a debuff of any kind. Of course, you lose out on the aero buff Cia gives, but that's what being a dedicated support/sub DPS unit is all about.

It is almost identical to the phoebe-zani situation, where Zani needs pheebs to apply frazzle to be efficient.
Zani works fine with Spectrover, it's just not the min-maxed best DPS

You can build him standard DPS or slap rejuv glow on him and just let his echoes buff carty with your other resonator.
The important things in his kit are his outro which enables more than 3 erosion stacks, and his aerial attacks from using his grounded skill, which replace debuffs with erosion.
Ideally you'd Apply debuffs > rover replace debuffs + outro > Carty applies the last 3, then bursts.
