Im tired of people who have never played retail/classic spouting shit like this. I can boot up warmane right now and even at level 1 point out at least 10 flaws. Now arguably Turtle also has most of these flaws, most pservers do (stuff like world objects like trees and rocks having LoS, fences having mobs path around the fence rather than run over it, etc), but Warmane straight up just has bad raid bosses and dungeon bosses as well.

What I dislike about FMC is that half of the guild themselves are snakes to each other. /wowg/ and old /wpsg/ was literal whos and opposing guilds shitposting each other for drama, but since Turtle has no other 4chan guild and every other pserver is dead (with Tauri being mostly FMC raidloggers like Koto for example) all the drama is internal. You have people stopping mid raid fight to shitpost their fellow guildies in the raid. You have faggots leaking logs to the unwashed masses to make fun of people. You have people talking about others behind their backs in their own little "friendship" cliques (in quotes because its less actual friendships and more narcissistic friend collecting autism), you have people posting in the thread about things that have only been said in guild chat or in discord or in raid. It's disgusting sociopathic behavior and it's why FMC is a dead piece of shit that no one wants to join and most sane anons leave.

The only way to save FMC is for Gargoth to step up and be an actual leader, do his fucking job, and publicly execute these bad actors. Literally just get rid of them, they are a cancer that everyone else can't stand to be around. If I was the leader in FMC I would rule with an iron fist and get rid of these cunts.
Now I'm not saying there can't be bantz and fun shitposting, but this toxic highschool clique drama is literally just not worth being around and no one who isn't a 19 year old troon wants to put up with that shit.

this is something i've wondered myself, while yeah it's illegal to do so there is no way Shenna or the Warmane devs have enough money to challenge blizzard in a lawsuit and it would be questionable whether a jurisdiction would even want to help these servers that are clearly operating in a bad faith legal grey area with copyright law infringement. and any repercussions from the community blizzard would have are bar none, all the wow players left wouldn't care if turtle was suffering from ddos attacks all day from blizzard themselves in fact they would probably cheer blizzard on to "own the chuds" or whatever. I know coming up with and balancing new class things is a daunting task, but TBC talents and abilities dont really mean shit all. PvP will probably be the biggest thing changed from this like Warlocks are going to be even more disgusting, but PvE wise shit like balance/feral(cat)/ele/ret/spriest are still going to be worthless garbage and Warrior/Rogue/Mage are still going to be the meta gods. Turtle doesn't always have the best changes, but a lot of their changes are really fun and good. Meme specs actually feel like they can do something, even if still not the best. Non-meme specs are pulling comparable numbers to warriors now too, even if still slightly behind once the warriors are uber geared. I wish Epoch had the balls to do more with classes.

Turtle's the best private server bar none. Epoch would have been top dog had it landed 2-3 years ago when Turtle had the Chinese invasion; however, they missed their moment a long time ago.
I give Turtle a 90% chance of outliving Epoch because they're thinking past the constraints of the game, and if they can pull off the engine update (not saying they will) then it's seriously over. Epoch waited too long and it's the elephant in the room. The person claiming Turtle lived off 100s in population initially is missing the fact that Turtle had little to no competition when it started that wasn't simply a fresh fag future failure experience. Epoch is now a direct competitor to Turtle, and as I said earlier, their one pro is that it's a better client - for now.
As another person mentioned before, unlike Epoch, Turtle has offset its esl problem by launching South African and Chopstick servers. Just because Reddit is the other side of the basement as 4chan doesn't mean you shouldn't second guess your decision to support the server. Shenna's probably a huge faggot that stole assets from Lights Hope but in its state it's a solid server with continued support.
If you want a long term server go Turtle. If you're a fresh fag wanting a new experience go for Epoch when it launches as it will be good vibes till 60 and then downhill after that first MC transitioning from a botched surgery into raidlogging.
