Was thinking about possible new nightfarers that didn't need a new weapon. One I was considering was a dual curved sword user. Passive ability would be to turn all curved swords paired with a moveset mixing the powerstance, falx, dancing blade of ranah and backhand blades. Not sure what the skill or ult would be, maybe a counter-style skill and a beyblade ult idk.

I think Executor is much stronger than he's given credit for. The amount of Posture damage he's capable of if you can land deflects is insane. On top of that if you are a bit too early and block, you can guard counter from a failed deflect.

Why? As per bayles item description the tarnished was meant to turn into him, but sacrafice is a key theme in elden ring. Especially in fromsoft games with selfish characters, ranni herself sacrificed her own godhood and self to prevent the tarnished's transformation leading her to becoming an ice dragon. Ice as thats her primary source of magic from her moon. Her hat also has the exact same eye shape as caligos who stares at you from afar. Whats left of her consciousness still clings to heolstor and now the night he has summoned. Her sacrifice mirrors duchess dying to save her husband wylder


That moon has the same color and shape as rannis at the end and its not some egg or whatever. Its a moon

Recluse isnt the babies mom but its adoptive mother as her questline says, it was created through artifical means but isn't an albinauric and has great power. This babe was meant to get the only demigod of ranni and tarnished's age hatched from rennala's egg, imbued with the seed of the tarnished and the god nature of ranni. But upon rennalas death the egg was taken and hatched by recluse who proceeded to use it as a weapon hence its energy state it not having the connection to actually have a flesh body yet.

While I agree with you that the bugs aren't that tough to nohit once you've beaten them a few times, you're undervaluing some of their aspects. Delayed stomps with proximity aoes will always be tricky because until you've gotten the timing down you can't trust reflexes or intuition alone to know when exactly the hitbox will be out and it requires trial and error. They're also very tanky, tedious, and some moves will put out absurd amounts of damage. That's been the tried and true method for turning the unassuming movesets for every fromsoft dragon boss into something imposing. If it makes you feel better, often times the experience I have with friends is that enemies target me significantly more than them. Unironically won some of my early runs because the enemy never dropped aggro from me and I just spent the entire fight backing up in a wide circle while my friends give the boss backshots.

All greatshields have garbage elemental resists in nightreign.
The best thing to do is to grab the Bloodborne relic since you can easily recover the chip damage through shield poking.

His only weakness is that sometimes enemies ignore you, if he's being targeted then he's the best character in the game bar none. So why not take advantage of that

You can't strafe them in all situations just by walking depending on your positioning when the bug goes for an attack, and you will be in a vulnerable position trying to find a way to hit it's weird hurtbox a lot of the time. You're making it out like it's the vanguard demon or adjuticator. Those are actual examples of a boss that can be easily and effectively strafed with 100% consistency. The bugs on the other hand display some problem features to their attacks that historically have proven to cause players to make mistakes coupled with a massive lifepool for an endurance test. Some of its lunging attacks with its face are unintuitive also.

The actual reason the bugs are easy to get down hitless and carry randoms against is because they lack heavily in attack variety and have zero combo attacks or mixups with a slow overall pace. Same with the centaur and adel and just about every boss in nightreign compared to regular elden ring boss design. Not because of some bullshit like strafing 100% of their stomps.
