Yeah, you often have to stick to your starter bow which is not great, because you need to have relics for boss weakness and thus can't just queue for all bosses at once.

what the fuck? i just had the strangest thing happen.
we had an absolute god run, level 15 before noghtlord, stars of ruin/death rancor staff.
then someone didn't skip the door opening cut scene, and after the loading screen there was a brief moment where I saw my character standing in front of the door, followed by another 5 minute or so loading screen.
then we i finally spawned into the boss, but one of the guys had disconnected.
here's where it gets really weird. so me and the other guy just gesture to each other in a wtf way while hoelster slowly walks towards us, then the other guy suddenly comes back and is dead, we revive him and fight hoelster
but something is weird, he has an utterly inflated health bar, and my team mates seem to be fighting him way over there, while I'm fighting him here. anyway, it takes us like 4 minutes to kill hoelster phase 1, and I'm like "all right we're not gonna make it". but then as phase 2 starts, I see that phase 2 Hoelster is already at like 10% health and we kill him in like 10 seconds. What the fuck?

Then I finally got the recluse ending which I've been queueing for for 4 runs, but for some reason it just didn't count because her remembrance book is still at 7/7 as if I hadn't "rescued" the infant. now I need to do it again...? wha the fuck is even going on?

As much as so many dislike it, get acquainted with raider's colossal moveset.
Powerstancing is for when you're feasting on amazing weapons that are also of matching types(colossal weapons, greathammers, greataxes, and colossal swords all have to be matched to double-swing with L1) and don't NEED to hard-focus on the boss's weakness.
Also, one 2h'ed purple or legendary is better than taking that same weapon and powerstancing it with a worse weapon even if they do match.

weapon stats are in the codex. presuming it's the same as normal ER it has weak overall block stats except against magic/fire, and zero thrust block. the plus of jellyfish shield is that its skill is a damage boost that stacks with most everything. and more importantly NR did NOT carry over the most recent nerf from ER that makes the buff disappear if you put away the shield.

Those specifically refer to the stationary weapon mounts that you can loot, and they're always the same. Castles have staves in the side room with the top floor along with a map of local points of interests, and a merchant either in front of the entrance or below the ruined bridge depending on the castle type. Camps have bow stands all over, and a merchant in one of the corners (just look a their campfire smoke). Cathedrals have chests with seals either in the underground crypt or on the top floor which you need to climb the back scaffolding to reach.
