So there are two big supernatural concepts at play here: Remnant and Agony. Remnant is basically basically Soul Juice, and injecting it into things makes it possible for them to be possessed by spirits. So the M1 is F10-N4/MXES, and M2 is the Endoskeleton. Ed made the M2 as a way to put the M1 AI into a more physical body, and look after David. So... how does anyone feel about the Goddavid theory? The one where David is the origin of the crying child and Gregory. I know that people here are upset about Edwin taking over Henry's role and Fazbear Entertainment becoming the mainstay antagonist of the franchise. But I don't see people talking about the implications of what David did to fnaf4 and fnafsb retrospectively.

Now we have the implications that the mimic brainwashing the crying child and Gregory into behaving like David. That happened to have similar incidents throughout the timeline.

I think people misunderstood most of the lore honestly, me included.
It's not so much that Edwin made everything, he's more or less just a contractor for Fazbear Entertainment. The only thing I really find egregious is him perfecting the Springlocks, that just makes Henry and Edwin look worse by default.
Henry selling him out is something I'd bet more on him being spineless and a pushover in the 80s based on the books, William more than likely got him to agree that Edwin was a lost cause and the best case scenario was taking everythign from him. I think he only really grew a spine in the time between 1 and PS.

So what are anons thoughts on Dispatch/Hand Unit? He's become my favorite secondary antagonist in the franchise. I know that M1 was mimicking him for a good part of SotM but overall I like his characterization. It was good to hear his voice at the beginning and the end sound more human-like. Though I will say compared to Phone Guy, Hand Unit feels more higher up corporate while Phone Guy felt more personal in his conversations.

Something ive noticed about certain fnaf fans in certain places (rhymes with Quitter) have become a certain breed of Zealotous Game Sluts. They don't care about the actual game or its story or if its even good, all they care about is that its a new installment in the thing they like. SOTM is but another example of Fnaffans doing this, sure it isn't bad bad but its pretty bad not only in terms of its gameplay but its story. it only holds up because it gets compared to like Fnaf3 and SL.
