See this is just my tinfoil hat at work here but Sandeep's apparent resentment towards his parents (mother in particular) tells me a few things. He clearly is projecting his lack of nurturing from his mother onto women as a whole, likely because his parents were more focused on his siblings or (if he's an only child) he blames his father for taking all of his mother's attention. He may have been completely touch starved and likely still is, probably as a result of this neglect and exacerbated by it later in life. When you're that alienated and socially isolated, it can manifest in behaviors like this.
