However, it has a lot of removal and a 1 PP spell that nukes any target provided you sacrifice your own as well.

Rune is garbage. Like actually putrid shit. DClimb doesn't combo with anything to actually kill the opponent right away, just fucking Enhanced Kuon which is a T10 play. While real decks are playing down finishers on turn 8 and 9, Rune has to boost a COMBO wincon on turn 10. The best play outside of that is vomiting some nu Flame Destroyers early and praying that the opponent can't remove them. It's terrible. Don't play Rune.

Just plopping down one or two 8/6s on turn like 5 is not going to win you the game though. Everyone has access to that neutral that just kills something on evo, not even accounting for actual in class hard removal. Changing it from 7 health to 6 is actually pretty big. For example Sword can trade into it with their nu Floral Fencer. Most dangerous play I can think of is dropping them alongside Kuon on 7, which isn't bad, but many classes have outs to big boards at that point.
