I have 150 hours on killer apparently. It's kind of nice to be able to see how much IN MATCH time I've spent on the game rather than just the program opened.

I don't really play it much anymore though. My survivor playtime is going to pass it soon. Even though survivor sucks it feels like an actual challenge compared to killer where you need to nerf yourself to have fun.

You want to unhook as LATE as possible unless there is mounting pressure with slugs or multiple hooks. Not only are you making tunneling more easy, and more efficient for the killer, doing this consistently in a match also tells the killer that he can just proxy camp and get rewarded and not ever have to try to move around the map to find anyone. I've done a few matches so far, and my general strategy has been to be a sneaky little shit (the few perks I do have are focused on revealing the killers location or similar) but my biggest concern is that I'm being a rude asshole because I keep finding myself in the same situation.

you can try to rescue them but the killer will probably be sitting around the hook to secure the last kill/catch you rescuing so its fine if you leave but if theres 2 or 3 other people left alive its better to try to help
also I literally didnt play killer for the first like 3/4 years I had the game but its my preferred role now I recommend you try it out

I figured if I tried to save the one guy it would have just been two dead instead of one.
My very first match I got the AFK crow shit on my head and immediately learned to not hide around, so I'm not a total camping dipshit, I focus generators a lot, but I just find fucking with the killers to be extremely easy, I hide around corners close to them all the time and they never see me. I'll give Sadako or Dracula a try later probably just because it's retarded to me they even put Dracula in this fucking game.

If you don't have any unhook speed perks unhooking someone in endgame can be very hard by yourself, often impossible.

Once you start playing against killers with a bunch of aura reading perks where they might as well have wallhacks most of the game that stops working as much.

I would recommend watching a basic and intermediate looping guide, something you need to understand on both sides and something that you can practice without any perks at all.
