I still prefer the old Thor, but the awakening change will at least make him not COMPLETE shit in higher elos. Especially since it's confirmed that you get 1 thorforce refunded immediately after canceling it, so you can fly away to chase someone or run back to your team instantly after you cancel it. The biggest issue I have with this new Thor is that your need to be an awakening bot to be useful since he can't tank or brawl for shit anymore, but being in awakening all the time that left him way too vulnerable at times. Maybe now I will actually be able to play him in Celestial without getting fucked the moment the Emma grabs me or Bucky hooks me the millisecond I pop awakening.

I spent the last 30 minutes testing hawkguy wtih my friend and hawgkuy is without a doubt the most intrusive character in this game. I could never imagine it was this broken, the fact that certain heroes have to work extra hard to secure kills and this hero can simply one shot most of the roaster holding click is unbelievably awful.

It's a welcome change don't get me wrong, but it's just showing that they fully intend for this to be the direction they continue to go on for Thor and likely won't revert the changes any time soon. Objectively it's a buff, but I think most Thor players just want the rework reverted at this point.
I still think if they're hellbent on this playstyle existing, they should revert the changes to Thor to preserve his old brawl playstyle, BUT introduce Beta Ray Bill as a DPS that uses the Awakening ranged spam playstyle as his own thing so both kinds of play can exist.

I've been playing multiplayer games since before most people playing games now were born. The current people I'm playing with outside of my immediate freiend circle are all born in a Post-"War on Terror" world.

I played all kinds of multiplayer games from Unreal Tournament to Quake, Starcratf to Age of Empires. Street Fighter to King of Fighters.

You're on babysitter duty, making sure your idiot supports don't die instantly from 1 diver.
If the Magik/Fist/Spidey/Whatever is diffin' your supports, use anti-flank measures with Emma, Thor, and Strange. Thor is a good counter-brawler because of his constant shields and potential for instant burst damage, Strange's danger zone is nextto him, and Emma is "anti-meta" in general.

With playing as Groot, it's more about placing ironroot walls between the enemy tank and the supports, use the mini walls for extra damage, and play corners since you have literally no mobility and Wolvie still 10-0's your ass.

With Mag, all you really need to do is land your projectiles. Since Mag's M1 is slow and chunky, you pretty much want to aim where you feel they are going to be when shooting at max distance. But if you can't aim, please don't play Mag and stick to Emma or Strange (or even Peni)

And I think the game's rigged. Its way too convienent that whenever I go on a win streak I suddenly get players who are really bad, or highest they've climbed in bronze in ranked.
I'm talking guys who never heal, guys who are 10+ deaths in an 8 minute match, guys who are 1/7 playing at a bronze level.

It just doesn't seem right in the sense that you lost to a close game, it feels like you're just placed in an extremely one sided match to lose.
