So there's 3 Quadruple Actions statuses: 552, 670, 707.
707 is "Undispellable Quadruple Action" for big blue Daimyokai. And it's called Undispellable. Okay, it's not dispelled by disruptive way.
670 is the broken one that doesn't remain until next turn after receiving it starts.
And 552 is from crisis ability. It lasts 4 turns and its not dispelled by disruptive wave or anything really.
Granted, since it's crisis shit, it'd probably reapllied immediately if removed, right? fuck...

Well I'm staying home with Reina today, but it seems that in my stead, Lucretia has finally managed to assemble a full team of Harpies (and/or other associated Bird Girls) on the island. Which is honestly quite nice to see, I'm glad for her! None of them are dedicated healers, but we have a few psuedo-healers to remedy it in the meantime.
Beside Lucretia and Fermi, Ateru's has proven exceptionally powerful (hopefully she finds her misplaced wardrobe soon), Charis's new powerup has given her exactly what she needed to hold her own, and the two new Tengu Girls Yanagi and Kyo have shown themselves to be quite strong. Both in-particular actually combo EXTREMELY well with Lucretia: Yanagi grants all wind allies an evasion buff that stacks with Lucretia's, and Kyo gives all wind allies an attack speed buff that stacks with Lucretia's. Her and Lucretia attack almost instantaneously when their skills are active. It's pretty awesome. Hopefully we can find the Tengu Queen and complete their trio.

Also, apparently "backwind" is an actual insult among Harpies and not just something Reina made up (means useless or detrimental). Even after all this time, I'm still learning new things.
We still haven't learned how to avoid breaking the bed though. Even with all our gold, replacing the frames gets expensive after a while.

It does remind me of something similar though, since I've been revisiting MOTHER the past couple of days and I was always fond of the backgrounds and the ways they were animated or distorted. In particular I found a video showing a version of the fight with the Masked Man/Claus that used all of the scrapped animated backgrounds and it really added a lot to it; I'm genuinely surprised they didn't use them.

MOTHER only ever really pulled out all the stops with those backgrounds for the final bosses, but it made me wonder if something like that could've worked to help the impact of Chaos, since even if I enjoyed that fight, she does seem to be a point of contention and part of that seems to be how bland she, or at least her 'human' body, looked for most of it. There's no way trtr could've probably done something like this given he was on a time crunch as it was, and I'm not really sure how best to implement something like that either. But if Chaos's face used the blank one that's framed in shadow, her skill descriptions were more unexplained and the backdrop against her changed and twisted over the fight it would really sell her being an unnatural and ungodly powerful being that's on a completely different level from everything else in existence. Hell, have her doing things like crying out for her father or muttering in anger mid-battle too, since he has had conversations interrupting fights before (like Neris intruding on the Nanabi battle). The fact it would ONLY be on that level for Chaos would also add to the impact since it'd stand out a lot more.
Granted, MOTHER's a completely different kind of RPG but given how most people easily blew past Chaos and the 'scripted' portions of her fight that do exist are so easy you'd have to go out of the way to somehow lose, it'd probably go a ways towards helping the emotional impact she's meant to have.

Given there's some evidence trtr changed things so she'd get a happy ending, and her whole motivation is a mixture of resentment and desperation to escape fate, on top of how embracing her and taking part in that is what leads to the good ending, it's clear Chaos is supposed to be tragic and compelling on at least some level. Chaos looking like a genuine abomination wouldn't work with that. However Chaos also lacks any real presentation that you get to interact with. I would've just used this version for the fights (and given her a different defeat sprite), probably kept it one long fight with transitions and dialogue mid-combat, and rather than modifying how Chaos looks just made up for it with presentation and various effects to better sell her.

like sure Mini used her final form for that one last dungeon but she didn't need it at all until then, and she probably would've been fine without it anyway given how I split up the teams. Even in her true natural state though, Mini was STILL stronger than Pina and Pii, Reflestia, Miu, even Andrea (who tore the Demon God to shreds) and she tied with Lucretia in terms of their damage outputs. So the power boost led to her becoming tied with her Queen as the second strongest of the Harpies on the team, with both coming behind Reina and her incredible power and versatility. Even without her power boosted trait Mini was very strong though since her normal trait still had a crisis mechanic and she hit like a train and the party was able to take damage readily (thanks to Reina and Chirp) so once the boss triggered that threshold her output would spike. And Mini only needed to master one T5 race and two T5 jobs to do it! And I never switched off Paradox Difficulty once, either. So that huge spike she got was really all Mini needed, and honestly even though I did use Mini prior to that and she was fine (albeit she did lag behind a bit), part of me wishes I had used her more prior to it just because I like her that much, but still-

You also miss that theme of choice, the harpies, already have several good characters by default and is open-ended. I only really grinded for the final dungeon, and that was just to build up the girls who fell behind since I didn't want to just do the thing of "take one team and do all three paths with the same group". I don't remember doing it that much prior, bar needing to get another girl to deploy the defensive buffs for the World Drown fight since Chirp kept getting everyone killed with her end-of-turn dance. I'm not sure how much luck was really involved over the whole thing, but there were a couple of times where I had to reset frequently in order to keep Reina from going down since I was also doing the whole thing with Reina going deathless, so I can't really deny I didn't need luck a few times either

I mean, I LIKE Pazuzu and I tried to use her, and maybe it would've been different if I had been on 3.04 and not 3.02 because Pazuzu as I used her was pre-trait buff, but every time I tried to actually use Pazuzu she just kind of sucked. Even when I did bring her out to use shadow dance for the final dungeon it did nothing of value and she died immediately (I learned later on that it actually applies to "self", which is why it does not benefit from skill type expansion) and Pazuzu ended up having to be swapped out for someone else.
I think there's several reasons for why that ended up being the case but I don't mean to get sidetracked too much so I digress;

actually, now that I think of it, Pazuzu is Harpy/Beast/Apoptosis and post 3.04 her trait is ridiculous. On a purely mechanical scale she's better than Lucretia in every way, and I still used Lucretia over her just fine, because Lucretia's gem spread was enough to bridge over the gap there.
But sure I'll put those three aside; Pyhar's trait has aged atrociously by the time of the final route and Pyhar still did extremely well with only one Tier Five Job just spamming Oracle Skills. She has a worse trait than Normal Mini by that point and she was still fine. She didn't even have a chain, because she only used Gambling Skills.

You get them pretty early just don't beat Singularity. They'll be kinda bad for main characters standards because they won't have Trueshot till they rejoin since they give it for beating Singularity, but you can beat the other first half of bosses then you join you for fakesies. It's not like you actually need to upgrade their gear to really count them as party members.

MC has sex with her again to help her get wet enough to successfully push the eggs out, and can even feel the eggs in her, but she's confident that they'll be fine and this will be a safe way to help her lay them. MC pulls out before he comes when Perili tells him it's working, and Perili then manages to successfully lay her eggs. Afterwards, Perili asks MC to help her incubate them and keep them warm so all of her eggs will hatch and while she's keeping them warm he gets the stuff to help her do so.

All her eggs are stillborn, and they never hatch.
The scene ends with MC wondering why Perili was so dejected about it, before saying that it's a story for another day.

There's some complication that happened either during the initial conception or afterwards, but either way it's still a massive tonal shift. It's not really easy to compare laying eggs to terms made for live birth given how different they are but it felt like what the equivalent was for her.
Regardless of the reason for why it happened though she's clearly still saddened about it.
I was also caught off guard by her actually announcing her pregnancy and intent to have you help her give birth at the start of it, and her really meaning that in earnest. I would've never seen that coming, given how this all usually is. The scene was a little uneasy but it still felt really sweet due to the sincerity of everything, until the very end where yes the final few lines suddenly nosedived the entire thing into depression territory. It just makes the moment itself a lot sadder in hindsight.
Up until that point it made me think of Reina and how she's really wanting to get pregnant and have children as well, although in Reina's case she's implied to eventually decide against it for the time being if only because she's still on an adventure and it isn't the right time yet.
