Is Enhanced Light and FX bad, and can it be safely uninstalled?
I haven't played Skyrim in a very, very long time and back then it was the go to mods for lighting, but maybe now there are better alternative?
Personally, I don't think it's a bad mod but I came to dislike how much he saturate light fire light sources, or maybe I'm just imagining things and ELFX is just fine, I don't know, like I said it's been so long since I modded Skyrim I don't know what's good.

Are there any good Vanilla+ modlists that just make the game run better, look better, add Wintersun, new perks, and overhaul all of the armors because most of the default skyrim armors are awful. honestly I was a bit stumped on this one, SMP beast tails only has like one entry in its esp - the armor addon - and my entry was seemingly identical to it in every way except for the file directory of the tail nifs.

I did a little file restructuring and based the armor addon entry in my mod on a copy of the one from HDT SMP tails and despite this only changing the file directory, it seems to have worked? honestly I'll just take the Ws I can get.

The most popular lighting mod is LUX because it looks alright and has hundreds of patches for the most popular mods
Window Shadows Ultimate is a recent lighting mod based on Window Shadows (not supported anymore)
Imo lux is the best and more complete but it's up to your taste, I do like ELFX in some interiors too.

A sizable quest mod that takes place in a new worldspace. Its an extended dungeon crawl(10 to 20 hours) where the ultimate goal is go back to tamriel.
There is minimal NPC interaction and what little there is remains unvoiced. The dungeon crawling is divided into 3 main sections, overworld, entrance and depths. The enemy encounters are dwemer machines, skeletons, ghosts and ash spawns. Aparently there are chaurauses too but I didn't encounter a single one in my 15 or so hours of playtime.
With no NPC interaction whatsoever the story is told through journals. The most recent events that transpired on the island took place in the 3rd era and you're just exploring the fallout of it.
With that in mind all the mod has going for it is the level design which is respectable. Its not badly designed. The biggest issue ends up being the heavy amount of backtracking you have to do if you want to explore everything. The mod is slow paced to say the least. The areas are designed with "story" in mind rather than player convenience. There is a quest which requires you to find 4 items in the depths section of the mod and then backtrack to the overworld to conclude the quest(and then backtrack to the depths again to leave the area)
The maps are large but not dense which just makes them devoid of anything a lot of time. The way it promotes exploration is through keys. You will encounter many gates that can only be opened with keys but you won't really know if opening them will lead to progression or just more backtracking.
Overall its probably the best its concept can be executed in vanilla Skyrim without straight up copying dark souls.
I give it a 7/10 but I don't recommend anyone playing it unless you have a lot of patience(as in you can finish Abya)

I'm approaching level 80 and I believe I've done almost everything there is to do in Skyrim, or at least anything worthwhile such as questlines and what not.
I think I'll do a second playthrough but there are things I'd like you guys suggestion on for mods to look for:
- The first is playerhome, the stuff from the basegame is fine I'm not looking for additions, just improvement, but I also know that these tend to be a shitshow on Nexus so I'd be glad to hear you guys suggestion on that

I'm on Re-engaged, but to tell you the truth I tweaked it so much but it may as well not be called "Re-Tinkered", but that's okay, I always tweak the ENBs I use to my liking anyway, I don't think I ever installed an ENB and been satisfied of its default values.

You have to edit settings for different light sources for a given weather and also time of day.
Interiors come only with variables for just day and night, but if you wanted to diddle the settings for outside, it has six of them.

There is an ENVIRONMENT tab, in which there are settings for Direct, Ambient and Point lighting.
Direct for interiors only affects literal holes in the walls/roofs.
Ambient is just magic everpresent light that is applied equally everywhere.
Point is for actual light sources, like braziers, candles, torches, etc.
Main settings you keep eye on when editing light levels are [X]Intensity and [X]Curve
Intensity is hopefully self-explanatory
Curve is SUPPOSED to adjust color, but it also affects intensity
Below the ENVIRONMENT tab there are also tabs for individual types of light sources, like LIGHTSPRITE, PARTICLE, FIRE, COMPLEXFIRELIGHTS, COMPLEXPARTICLELIGHTS.
Here I turned down pretty much everything I could get my hands on, and now I'm going to work my way down these to get where I want to be.

I wish there was a TES-style RPG but without weapons; all of the different styles of fighting are unarmed as well as ki 'magic'. So your RPG character's equivalent to a heavy armored zweihander user is like, a wrestler or sumo guy or a heavyweight boxer. Someone using a sword and board might instead use a well rounded or counter-based MA like jiu jitsu or judo. a dagger user might use something like jeet kune do or Wing Chun. maybe there could still be room for some martial arts weapons like tonfa and bo staves, and some more unorthodox ones like drunken fist.

I love unarmed combat too much I keep making punch characters. if Stickbug could be given a very specific fighting style I think I'd make her use muay thai or shotokan karate
