use hammerfall on defense. hammerfall beats all but one of his special cancels. if he does beyblade, he can get through the armor, but without meter it puts him -12 in buster range
bed relies on hover and needle for neutral. you can flick needle on reaction but flicking zap is a read and less reliable. if he tries to zone you out just hold the zap then flick the needle

To my knowledge this is the first major won by Potemkin since he got his major buffs from December. Not even a stacked major. Though maybe a Pot won at least 1 other small major that I'm not aware of? Is this because not enough high level Potemkin players exist? Not enough of them travel? I really don't get the issue with the tower system but maybe the average player here is either much better or much worse than me.
I can see the issue if you're stuck in Floor 10, or if you're top level and are forced to play with random apes, but as an ape who peaks at low ~1800 rating, it's mostly just positives.

generally rising j.P is a default action against bedman. it forces him to start playing on the ground which makes it easier for you to approach with fuujin. bed's normals are big with high recovery so if you hop a button when you dash up j.P you can usually start pressuring him when you land
anji's neutral is pretty linear so just spin good and dash block sometimes
really do not recommend fuujin > fans against bed unless you really have him conditioned. bed's reward if he jumps it is probably the best in the game since his j.S vacuum will corner you
I think you get slightly better butterfly oki against big bodies but I haven't labbed it
defense is hard to give tips on because bed is just strong on offense

It seems like strivers don’t like pots playstyle, cope that he will get nerfed hard or already tierwhore with a different character.
In NA you have big body mains like NBNHMR and Sidvictor jumping ship. NBNHMR is already placing well with him. Aboii got 9th in CEO losing to johnny and hc in his run. In EU only Crillou swapped and did okay at brussels challenge. In Japan FAB and consomme were 9th at arcrevo japan and 3rd YMST had a pocket pot.

nah, lots of people could do johnny's execution shit, even NA payers, it's kinda overrated. Omito's execution was very solid obviously but not a level above everyone else in the scene.
Xrd Johnny won by simply making the right decisions, and his toolset gave him an option for every situation that allowed you to be right, with extremely high reward when you were and relatively little risk to being wrong as long as you were picking the right one. Omito won basically everything by just being right more often than anyone else. Johnny being stupidly good was important for that, it would be foolish to claim that the strength of the options he had available didn't contribute to Omito being successful with them, but simple execution is nowhere near enough of an explanation for why no one else could do it.

I don't think he could do as well in Strive anyway though. Strive is a game about picking correct options even more than Xrd was, but in a very different way. In Xrd there was often an option that was just a likely checkmate in a given situation, and knowing what it was and being aware and recognizing the situation fast enough to do it, and knowing how to manoeuvre yourself and your opponent into those positions is what makes a top player and what Omito was the best at.
Strive is a game where you are constantly picking options and good players will pick the right one way more often than worse players, but there are generally far fewer options at a given time and rarely a single hard to find checkmate that only top players will be able to recognize.

It would be cool if your team determined your normals being assigned to each attack button in tokon. Say there's ABCD like BB. If have ghost rider as my A assist then I get all of his A attacks for command normals, but if I have him on B then it changes all to all of his B attack normals and I can't use his A attacks for assist anymore.
