He's a helpfull AI fellow in the pits who'll provide you information about your car, your opponents, yell at you or try to encourage you. And most importantly, he will spot for you, in case you have a car in you blind spot.

UI radar are immersion breaking and basically cheating, but this guy will tell you verbally if someone is there on your right. Download, install, select Asseto Corsa in game list, press "Start application" and it should work!

I have been on 4chan daily for over 15 years. At a certain point last year I decided that after playing MMORPGs for 20 years, it was no longer enough, so I checked if there was a VR Chat / VR thread on /vg/ and asked questions to figure out which equipment to buy. FBT and camera based hand tracking are as cool to me now as they were then, even if both are also slightly a pain to set up and use.

I'm very curious anons, what are y'all opinions on playing anything else other than VRC with the knuckles controllers? I've tried some vrfps and it feels kinda bad compared to touch controllers.

I was doing some Pavlov after months without playing it and for me, the grip is weird in a way that I'm always not sure If I'm using enough force to hold items or guns, if I use the option that let me grab just by closing my fingers, now it becomes kinda unresponsive to ungripping guns.

Triggers are too heavy and noticed there's a lot of community binding doing "hair trigger" for Pavlov, which I think is kinda hilarious but at the same time concerning if they got to a point where almost every binding has it by default.

My hands sweat a whole lot more leading to me tightening it more than usual so it doesn't slip off my hand mid throwing nade.

I understand that this part is on me but I wish to get input of some of the compressionlets that use mixed hardware. My continuous calibration often fucks up and my hands all kinda get skewed, it's frustrating having to guess where my sight is on the fly, all because my tracker decided to give me the middle finger.

Either way, I know that it's best if I just get used to it and deal with it, but other than VRC I can't really feel compelled to use my pair of knuckles to play (besides "I spent money on it").

I came from vive wands so the upgrade was much worth it. I've used touch controllers before, but I don't like them too much. That said the index controllers still have a bunch of problems. If im playing something competitive or where I need to be sure that sweat won't interfer, i use nitrile gloves. They last a few dozen times before the sweat breaks down the rubber, so a cheap box of them will last a long time. Still is a big cope tho. But I do like them over anything else. It would be really nice if you could double tap them together and then use hand tracking with the controllers still strapped to your hands. Mine has a chronic issue with how the grips holds onto the controller, mine ends up being floppy since it's just a thin rubber held to a velcro loop around the ring.

A prop marketplace seems like it would have had wider appeal than one for avatars. The lack of customization is a lot less of an issue and there's no upper limit to the number of props someone might want unlike with avatars where some people 'main' a specific one for years.
Sure you could make a prop yourself and put it in your avatar but at the same time if it's a cheap microtransaction that instantly works with your current avatar then the convenience is going to make it at least a little enticing.
