Look, you can even see it in their ammo storage, Yamato has to store big shells all over the place, while the clever Russian miniaturization technology allows them to have a couple of neat shell storage rooms conveniently located behind thick fuel tanks that conveniently stop many shells. i had a much easier time simply listening for planes in the night (back when audio worked correctly) and hunting them down that way, but radar could sometimes tell me if there were planes in a general direction, however that's something i would just know already because i knew the routes bombers would take

more importantly, heavy fighters/interceptors were useful because bombers actually had a decent amount of durability, so a bf109 or a mustang typically didn't have enough firepower to take out a bomber reliably

Depends on how you really want to grind the tree, i admit i'm talking from a fighter prospective.
If you want to just bomb bases, the Tornado is the right choice but most of the times, you'll rage against F4 and F104 chinkazoid that bomb bases before you.
The F-18 has an above average manouverability but it has a HUGE flaw: it's too fucking slow at the BR it is, so forget about reaching a base first and the fight will always be dictated by someone faster than you. If anyone wants to run from you, he will. If someone wants to reach you, he will.

The clickbait was on sale on july 2024, the M1KVT was 50% off the sales before them. Trust me it's a 2 update cycle, it coincides by the vehicles being 50% off even in the TT (i even buy TT vehicles only at 50% off)

for aircraft and ground vehicles it blocks control inputs when modifier is held, but just passes through with same bindings in helis
also very big fan of how if you set scroll wheel zoom/throttle/etc using the dropdown menu it will always pass scroll wheel input to that function regardless of any additional modifiers, so if you want multiple scroll wheel functions you have to leave the dropdown on none and set them in the axis settings instead (which results in different behavior, eg dropdown scroll zoom can zoom out from a keybind zoom, but axis scroll zoom can't so you have to press the zoom keybind a second time before you can controll it with scroll again)

Some (that i already have) are worth it, like the Mirage F1C and the J7D (extremly extremly good for grinding a whole tree) and some are good but not that good (MiG-21 BISON).
If you want to grind ground forces, the japanese Type16 is a very good choice, now even more than they removed the shitty M774, but consider taking the eventual Type 74(G) during the sales and they will take you to the Type 90 in no time.

I have it and it's ok for a few games, you get 2 R-73's which are free kills at your tier if used properly and 2 R-60s, besides of course your great cannons if anyone is dumb enough to head on you.
