In your 40s you get Tanaris Feralas Hinterlands, southern STV Swamp of Sorrows. All very fun zones to be in, SoS has a lack of quests but makes up for in atmosphere and design imo

In your 50s you get WPL EPL Winterspring and Ungoro Crater; some ofthe best zones in the game plus you’re starting to accumulate really good gear

Meanwhile lvl 30s you get… desolate, boring half of STV… Arathi(decent) Alterac (good but barely and Qs) Badlands aptly named.

The long answer is that there are periods in the leveling phase, especially like 30-45, where you feel like you're out of stuff to do. You're out of quests in the level 30 zones, too low for the level 40 zones, and especially if you play alliance it feels like pulling teeth to get a group to spam SM for 3-4 levels knowing damned well someone's going to drop after the first clear and you'll spend 20 minutes looking for a 5th (hopefully a dps) and then spend the next half-hour waiting for them to get their ass up to Tirisfal Glades.

Raid tanking is about the same as any other role. Look up a guide, do the mechanics. Sure, the mechanics for tanks tend to be "pull here, use defensive then, swap at this time"
Dungeon tanking is both way easier and way harder. Since you need to have a general idea of where you're going and know how fast you should be going.
But really, unless you're playing retail and doing M+, having a general idea of the dungeon or raid is like 95% of all you need to do. the other 5% is remembering to keep aggro

What class will you roll for TBC and why?

For me, Warrior for sure. Had so much fun as the token Arms Warr in my guild back in TBC classic and could still pump.

I also have no idea why people think Prot is bad, especially in Heroics. Yeah takes a bit more finesse than a pally pissing on the floor to hold threat but once you get it down it's a ton of fun

How hard is tanking in Cata and MoP. Ive only tanked in FFXIV but that's so straightforward because every dungeon is linear and every pull is nearly identical. But even then it took a lot of working up to feel comfortable trying to do it. WoW tanking seems like a whole different scary world. Is it simple? Hard? Does it require 20x the focus and brain power. I like Blood dk aesthetic a lot it cool. Prot Warrior is neat as well
