I'm feeling a bit defeated after enjoying playing again but I just cant seem to do Chaos Vallum, I have watched a ton of guides on the fight but I simply cannot put out the damage to do this in less than 5 deaths, closest I have gotten is 50% then the lightning comes out and its just not happening.....

Am I missing something? The item burning event seems to have this at something I should be doing at level 210 and I'm currently 226, It's really putting me off the game as I feel like I have just hit a massive wall that I simply cant beat.

You in theory should be working on your accessories throughout item burn, then after they're acceptable you can start replacing them. I got an arcane weapon and have been chipping at scrolling it (the traces in challenger world are great) and I'm happy with +8 for now so ssf I'm gonna try to get to 17 or higher, then I'll re assess if I can swap. Probably not till I have a 3 piece or some serious lines.

Okay so I'm new, and having some trouble figuring out what exactly I need to aim for on my WSE in terms of lines.
I'm on challenger world as an attempt to fresh start and figure things out away from a handful of 200-250 characters on bera where I used to play on occasional basis, then hopefully be ready to hop back in once it's over.
This seems like a good secondary, to me. Obviously I'd probably want like, 2 or 3 boss lines, but for just the free cubes I get, this seems okay enough, right?
I'm not playing a class with any built in IED that I know of (kinesis), so the extra IED is pretty nice, and the line brought my boss% up to around 300%.
my emblem is 9% matt 9% damage, and a trash third (I know damage isn't great either but I don't have any spare cubes to throw at it and don't want to put money on it before dmt at the very earliest so it stays for now)

so, would I be better off keeping the IED/boss line if it keeps me around 94% ied and 300% boss, or chuck it to try and get matt lines?

What they should do is give us a public open beta. What’s there to hide? Let everyone play, find bugs, stress test the servers. That way, we know what’s actually in the game and can give real feedback.

For Christ’s sake, announce a public beta at least! If a public beta flops, who cares—it’s a fucking beta. But private testing with zero transparency? That just feels shady. They’re hiding something—probably changes they don’t know if the community will like.

no, they want to be maximum efficiency with little effort. They don't care about how easy the class is if it still sucks, they want a low CEILING. As in, they bump their head against it without trying.
Blaster is very easy to play, like 4 buttons for the whole ass class. But you have to learn to combo duck/weave into bunkers, skill ceiling too high, no one plays.
Mo Xuan, similar story, effectively 4 buttons minus burst, but having to combo and chain them in specific ways makes them too high ceiling, no one plays.
LOW skill ceiling, like NL or NW, where there is nothing to learn besides "jump throw" (lol) are very popular.
Len fits in the latter character category, nothing to learn, you just pick up and play and can be very good, maximum efficiency without having to learn fuckall, THAT is what makes a class popular.

We're still a bit off from this as there's still two other bits of TMS content leading up to her, but we're definitely getting it. It's apparently a 250 boss, but that difficulty apparently drops something you use to enter the hard mode which is Bladrix level, which drops TMS Mu Gong Soul but for 2 minute change. I imagine we're going to get a similar reward but instead of TMS Mu Gong Soul it will be KMS Mu Gong Soul which is still an upgrade but it's way less worth it.

As for what it drops, in the past I thought a secondary would be in theme with other JMS content, but JMS removing Yu Garden and by extension the totems means that the actual fun thing to add would be a flameable totem that only takes flames dropped by the boss.

auto harvest is the only way to make any decent amount of brilliant dusk essences or magic powder, mainly from just buying them in the shop with the coins ye the mats are whatever tof gives way more
kms gets their mats through trade but also they have some premium pc cafe thing that makes giga ardentmill rates so ye we need something to fill that and auto harvest does work for what we need it for

its the other way around, tof is reduntant with auto-harvest

auto harvest was really bad initially but they heavily buffed it making it actually pretty good now. Sure it still gives overall less materials than ToF does but it takes significantly less effort and commitment. Also if you need dusk essences you have no real other option either.

This MPE change fucking sucks for anyone that's not a once a week player. Nexon either needs to buff the exp to match what you get from daily before, but twice, or just revert it back and let us do 7x MPE on main and one extra weekly on a mule.
I went from getting a .7 for dailies with sacred +mpe at 285 to getting fucking .3 from sacred which is fucking nothing so I have to cap broomy now for like an extra .5. fuck this shit, who the fuck cares that a mule will level once a month extra? Just bring back the old good daily exp.

I've really quite enjoyed boss progging in this game from struggling through cra to now soloing ctene comfortably

But man black mage, kalos and seren are just not fun fights at all, kalos more time with the systems gimmick than damaging the boss feels like, and seren just spams you, everything either stuns or blinds you and then there's the gauge on top

Ive always tried for min clears and been excited about solo progging a new boss, these assholes have left me with zero motivation to even bother the fights just aren't fun and often feel like there's very little room to even damage the boss outside of burst windows

Anyone else have a similar feeling?
