The opposite, Kizuna was a good movie but I hate the Kizuna forms, the designs just aren't better than the base Wargreys and Garurus.
I could look past that if at least in-universe they made them a fusion of Tai+Agumon and Yamato+Gabumon, but they pussied out of a matrix evolution / burst mode. The Bond evos have human faces, very clearly it was intended at some point to be a merge...
Even worse, they talk about how they're not done evolving and how their potential is infinite blablabla and then the Digimon still disappear at the end of the movie, despite them supposedly breaking their limits.

Both the story and the designs for the Bond evos are bad. Maybe if we got Kizuna 2 and they got to show off in a longer fight I'd warm up to them (but the designs are still kinda bad)
