Relic effects need completely unique icons for all of them. I want to be able to flip open my allies relics and tell at a glance what everyone is rocking. Having to skim through all the text and keep an eye out for keywords isn't really hard but it's a part of the game that could definitely be streamlined more.
Not to mention flipping through all the relics you roll...

Second split, also downed me, had to use my winding grace

How do you consistently get to level 15 when playing with a team? It feels like I'm chasing after churches for flasks too often instead of clearing camps. I do try to clear all the gaols that are on the way but most of the time, I get to the nightlord at level 12 or 13.

Flame of Frenzy is guaranteed on the Frenzy Flame Seal, which is a pretty common purple drop now that they updated Madness stuff to drop more frequently (plus it's guaranteed from the Frenzy tower event). On non-Frenzy seals they're pretty rare yeah, considering there's only 3 workable ones (Flame, Unendurable and Burst)

notably an evergaol line isn't there, it's because I think most people will opt for noklateo or moreso scarlet forest and you don't tend to get many gaols when those are shifting earths (or when there is one period)

they were before that one patch where they buffed frenzy weapon frequency, if you do a lot of bosses I'd say you see something frenzy 50-60% of the time, and rot forest just heavily stacks those adds
I've come out with like 3-4 frenzy seals in a single rot forest run before, but yes it is a bit riskier than giantsflame
flame of frenzy is just a very very powerful incant, it can take advantage of charged % lines, and even when bosses aren't overly weak to fire it tends to do a lot of damage if the hitbox is sufficient (mounted knight bosses and such), it's only a bit more middling vs something like bbh or heolster (and gladius/maris ofc)

flame of frenzy is cracked, and if you have a revenant she should see it fairly often and proceed to use it to destroy most bosses, it's easier to name the bosses it doesn't perform well against

But no, these incants also build madness on the user so the design ethos behind them are powerful incants that you have to properly manage another gauge for. That gauge isn’t really hard to manage at all, though.
Vyke’s Spear is alright though I’d not consider it OP. I usually pass it up, it’s helpful for Libra. In regular Elden Ring the ash is very good for crowd control (and thus PvP) but I kinda hated it for bosses so it’s one of my least favorite great spears, below even the serpent hunter for me.

I want to play better as him but I can't even finish the second day, I was able to kill only Gaping Jaw solo so far. I tried several katanas and overall I don't really like their moveset. They are slow and I constantly miss the target with running attacks. Parrying with cursed sword is very cool, but sometimes I just don't have that much time for duels. Especially against enemies with shields that keeps dancing around me instead of dealing any attack. Any weapon recomendations or how I should play as him?

Technically he can fill virtually every role because every single tool he has ignoring the passive is very good.

Arcane makes him very VERY good at day 1 anything. Deflect makes him useable against any and every boss and the better you get at it the faster you stance break every boss, and dog is great at reviving, healing, stunlocking, and staggering most bosses. With only a few (very notable) attacks from nightlords capable of outdamaging his self sustain.
