It seems that it's possible to beat the everdark bugs as wylder at level 1 without rolling or using your abilities. In the 1st phase the hardest part is avoding the initial charge sequence and when faurtis starts roaring which he will immediately follow with a charge (he charges 5 times). For the second phase you just need to avoid both bugs and wait for animus's red light attack and then you can stay away from the bug then when it does the big laser you rush towards it, get 2-4 hits then fuck off and repeat. It's quite boring, actually.

It seems that the safest way to kill them in the 2nd phase is to avoid them completely, just so you won't have to deal with that awful mist attack which isn't present in the 1st phase. I do not have enough smiting stones 1. Why do the merchants only sell a limited amount? That's so annoying. Also an early boost in power during day 1 always helps, you almost always spawn next to 1 and you usually end up doing field bosses at some point where you can do a second.
