yeah i doubt its cosmetics either its probably the pets that buff loot drops and give damage buffs those p2w pets its a gacha remember you have to roll for what you want each time you do a x10 roll it costs money and its expensive you need 3 pets for buffs for damage and 3 for loot and they work like the atlas tree that buffs league mechanics alongside scarabs
its fucked when you look deep into how p2w torchlight is, its why it will never reach poe levels even with how fun it is
