Newsflash: the only reason Faerin was created is to give Anduin a wife, just like Aggra was for Thrall.

Everything she does in the main plot is in service of Anduin's development, she also repeats on almost all of his characteristics scratch his non-combatant nature (her short story lampshades this openly).

She never does anything to actually warrant her presence in the Stromgarde story, you could cut her and leave Danath, Eitrigg and Gey'arah, and nothing of importance or context would change. Most of the mattering stuff is done either by them or by the player. The only reason she was thrown in there is to give her an in-universe justifiable reason to be present on the surface and continue developing her relationship with Anduin.

P.S. For a supposed girlboss she sure needs to be saved or lectured half the time, doesn't she?
