That being said, if your co-support is in a safe spot and not in imminent danger, prioritize your tank. It's not insanely difficult to flip a fight after losing a DPS, but it's almost impossible to do so after losing a tank. If you have to waste a ton of resources and risk your own safety for someone, let them die. Your survival and the survival of teammates around your safety zone is far more important than a lunatic expecting you to spread your ass cheeks in front of the other team just so they can maybe possible farm clips.

I've been thinking and I think the reason I like mystery heroes so much is not the randomness but the way it's more punishing when you die. Meaning that if I kill the guy who's performing well they're actually erased from the game more or less which feels good. And staying alive becomes an important skill (more so than normal).
I really think blizzard should consider bringing this mechanic of losing your ult charge when you die to the non-random modes. Maybe we should lose perks on death too.
Another idea is forcing people to switch by banning their hero from them for the rest of the game when they die.
These aspects may sound like they promote even more snowballiness but my experience in mystery heroes is different. I think it genuinely gives more opportunities for the losing team to make a comeback since all you need to do is kill the other team's star player once to make their house of cards crumble. You just keep your head cool and focus the guy to reset the table. Yes that tactic works in the normal modes too, but there he keeps coming back like a vampire and now he has his ult too. In mystery he's actually fucking done (unless he's really good with many heroes but then it's just fair). It's so funny that blizz keeps ignoring this mode when it's the best thing this game has to offer.
