Is there a way or a mod to implement Facial Animation eyes on top of modded xenotype heads? I want to give Facial Animation a try, but I have several xenotype mods I greatly enjoy that use custom heads. What's the deal with Big and Small? I haven't used it in the past, just because I'm reluctant to install any frameworks or big packages of genes and shit.
I also prefer to just make my own races and xenotypes and disable all the premade ones, is it still worthwhile if I'm not going to use the xenotypes it comes with? Which of the submods are worthwhile?

Grow rice early on it grows quickest. Potatoes is only worth it in stony soil(as the others are more efficient) corn is for once you have more food security, you get the most food from it but harvests take the longest.
Use the forage mechanic to get extra food

Since most of the entities are animals, that one psycast removes like 80-90% of the difficulty from the Anomaly.
Greatbows are pretty effective when used en masse. All you need is some tough neanderthal or vampire or even better - 1 to 3 ghouls to plug the hole with and bow the shit out of any melee-only degenerates the game can throw at you. This strat alone negates any threat from sightstealers if you can react to them fast enough (and they are still animals ready to claw each other to death if you ask them nice enough)

Tribals will probably be easier than non-tribals, but you need to wall your tree (and any important location). That's the only real difference from a normal tribal start.

You should use a mod that enhances romance on top of it, but overall RJW is the best option

my first time managing such a big base move, and with an extreme droner at that. i had to do it a few times to learn some tricks. First, split it into parts. pick the most stable and fastest guys to load the majority of the items. then send the rest in another caravan.
