Don't know if I'll like it so I decided to grab used Pico4 as they are pretty cheap here in allegedly pristine condition (apparently a lot of companies bought them, used once and left sitting on a shelf)

Battery longevity is what you can test by just using it, should last like 2 hours. And wifi chip stability (which is very unlikely to be broken) by installing SteamVR, Pico Connect and streaming PCVR games.

If your wifi is poo then use a long usb-c cable. There shouldn't be too many settings to tune in the actual software. It'll detect your headset once connected either via usb or via wifi then from the headset you launch the same streaming app icon. Oh yeah and install SteamVR on your pc.

New Quest UI is genuinely a headache.

I see the vision of what they were going for but the execution is fucking terrible. They want to be more like Apple Vision Pro in terms of mixed reality usefulness and having floating windows and such of apps.
