I genuinely don't know. I was very excited for it pre-release. It released and I read it for an hour or two and I genuinely just didn't give a shit. I think a big part was the combination of them paying off the (real) Herta, and how hard and strictly they were like "oh btw this is gonna be completely unrelated to things we've been building up otherwise" and how it just basically meant none of the existing case is gonna get brought up at all I just felt like I didn't care. I wanted to see more being added, not disparate groups of unrelated people.

The Belobog -> Xianzhou -> Penacony process felt cool because they were distinct but not completely unconnected. The IPC connected the three in lore and characters could come and go naturally. None of that is such a loss for me.

It's alright, it had some boring plotlines and some bad characters as well as some notorious use of wordslop to sound fancy and deep when it's not the time for it.
But it honestly delivered on the other stuff, the self contained story and atmosphere was nice, shame the world felt pretty much dead since there were only handful of non playable side chars to flesh out the world, and they appeared rather scarsely. I know it's supposed to be apocalyc times but man Oklahoma's vibes were mixed.
Anyway looking forward to how they'll finally wrap up this arc and link the story to the paths and Aeons.

This isn't really correct. E2 definitely assumes it's always up, which is absolute nonsense. It's barely an increase in a real world fight. Just think about how you ult for a second and it's obvious.

As for e1, this is also not the entire story really. Archer is about burst, and this is helping there. Without e1 you can't even do a full on 5 hit combo without some outside help like a Sparkle ult or a gimmick refunding SP.
