I'm most likely using her badly but it feels like she takes 5 seconds to stun a basic small enemy whereas it would take my Anby 2 seconds.

In terms of stun speed she is about average with a good build. You're not supposed to be auto attacking with her at all, she does her thing entirely off field and comes in for an EX or Ult occasionally.

It's not the content I have problems with, it's the story.
Gameplay wise, almost everything has been an improvement, but the writing is just FUCKING TERRIBLE.
Shifu is an all-powerful Mary Sue that holds the entire story hostage and makes it about herself, to the point where everyone else stops having a personality in order to glaze her. Including both siblings.
This also means that the other two Yunkui Summit characters basically end up having no personality and no character interactions. Compared to Section 6 who also has a glazed all-powerful leader, the chemistry between the Yunkui members is basically nonexistent.
The Exalstists are really not an interesting villain, and having any form of conflict be resolved by Shifu using her magic to fix everything is really not interesting to see.
The pacing is also terrible, and we spend the first hour or so in the story fucking around the china area being told how pretty and awesome and beautiful it is and how great and kind and awesome and charming the Yunkui summit members are, specially Shifu. The "twist" villain is obvious, and Fufu and the panda devolve into Paimonesque characters whose only purpose is saying "Noo! That's mean! Stop doing that!" to the bad guy.

The story wasn't only about Yixuan but about the whole deal with the exaltists and porcelumex.
The whole story was entirely about the investigation with Yixuan's agent story in between. The siblings are not interacting because we are supposed to investigate and uncover the mystery.
The shift of tone is also really obvious

The shifu glazing is the same as the miyabi glazing, yes, but unlike Shifu miyabi has an actual personality.
There's a reason why the only art you see of Shifu is coom art, and you never see any cute chibi art of just funny comics. Shifu has no personality, no interactions with other characters, nothing. She's a blank slate nothing character that does fuck all except receive praise and use magic to save the day.
Miyabi may do the same thing but she has actual charm and fun interactions with her cohorts.

I understand that Yixuan is supposed to be a powerful character, but when the glazing is so bad that it start sapping personality away from other characters and devolves everyone nearby into glazing machines then it starts hindering my enjoyment. The Exaltists story was alright (well, alright by ZZZ standards) but I legit could not focus on it properly due to how much glazing Yixuan was getting. This isn't your usual archon-level "ooo they're very strong, look at what they did in this cutscene" glazing, this is entire playable characters and the fucking MCs doing nothing in the story except saying "Wow, X, you're so strong!!". Her total lack of a personality made it much more apparent because no one both in-universe or out of it has anything to say about her except "she's strong and kind and everyone loves her"

My post was about you blaming the characters themselves and not direction of the story. The character's personalities weren't "sapped" to glaze Yixuan, they were sapped because the decided to put the focus on the plot and not so much on the characters, every single agent was making one line notes and the moving onto the investigation. They weren't being sapped and there were actually a huge chunk of lines during the gameplay in aerospace city, but again those were mostly comments about the matter at hand.
What I'm trying to say is that it's mostly a tone issue and problems with character interaction will be solved in future events, with glimpsed of that already shown in Fufu's event, when everybody is mostly on its own and Yixuan's lazy laid back nature being presented.
I personally find Yixuan's personality fun tbf, both starts and ending of the main story showed funny bits of her.
