As everyone pointed out, Democratic Detonation has some of the best and coolest stuff you can have as a player.
Polar Patriots has some really cool and fun stuff, I wouldn't personally call it critical must-have but it is undoubtedly one of the best warbonds. I would also personally rank Steeled Veterans around the same.
Urban Legends and Servants of Freedom are also very good, but not strictly "necessary" until you're higher level.
Freedom's Flame, Chemical Agents and Truth Enforcers are in the "nice to have but not immediate priority" range, you'll eventually want them but it's fully up to you.
Viper Commandos is considered really good for the armor and the booster, but a poorly-kept secret is that you don't actually need to buy the warbond to benefit from it. You can get the Medium armor with the passive from the Superstore which is much cheaper than buying the whole warbond, and the booster is so popular that 90% of the time someone will pick it in a lobby without you having to do it.

Honorable mention to Masters of Ceremony, it's still a pretty bad warbond but for outright newbies the booster can be really handy for completing upgrades faster.

Oh yeah I stand corrected, there's a visual difference in the explosion. Though it's not hard to get a feel of when to release with it, the little flash is a good indicator to hold it for just a moment more.

I am liking the weapon overall though, could see myself taking it as a decent EAT or Commando alternative. Takes a bit more to it to use than the others but you do get more out of it if you know how to use it. I assume the thing where a projectile flies wildly off target is a bug that'll be fixed. I've fired a fully charged shot into a dropship and taken out a good chunk of the units it was dropping.

I'm liking the Variable too. Can't see myself picking it over the Eruptor, but it's a fun AR alternative. Auto for most squishy things, volley for slightly more beefy things, and total basically just seems to exist for the memes or taking opportunistic shots on a hulk or charger and you don't wanna waste/don't have AT weapons. Though like >>531574516 said Total might be bugged. I was experimenting a bit to see if it could headshot a hulk, got no feedback of any kind that I was even hitting it. Same when I was trying it on a rocket devastator. Not sure if it's just deflecting and it's not giving me the indicator icon, or if it's actually just phasing through the enemy.

Have yet to unlock the other weapons, but I dunno, impressions I have on the first two are positive, they're fun. Hopefully will be more effective when they iron out the bugs.

The flash is not an indicator for max charge. The charge meter has to max out and start going fuzzy like the railguns and the fuel.. rod? things have to be fully depressed. Firing at the moment of the flash will only get you the lower power, very inaccurate shot.

I think it's a great gun desu. Total can kill hulks in one shot, just run behind them. Volley is useful if high hp low armor enemies get close to you, and auto has low recoil so you can be quite precise with it.

I don't want to sound the alarm, but when I'm using charged weapons like the Loyalist and Quasar Cannon after the warbond got released, I seem to randomly explode and die for some reason. Please tell me that I'm being stupid and paranoid and unskilled, but did AH accidentally cause all charged weapons to behave like the Epoch and blow up and kill you if you charge them for more than a certain amount?

When hunting behemoths with the Epoch your best bet is going back to the old leg meta. One full charged shot will strip the outer armour.
Also, one full magazine total mode shot from the variable will atomize the inner leg. I tried volley fire on another one and it took all 7 shots to kill it so you might as well use total mode.

Volley gun is the only thing I like so far. 2 slugs to dome a brood commander is nice, total just vaporizes them. Assuming it will pop the green unarmored part on the green spewers nicely.
My main complaint is the volley doesn't do knockback, for a 7 shot slug IMO it should have some stagger. You already have a huge ammo economy and ergo tradeoff so I think it should have some beefiness added to metrics like stagger and pen. Thing is I feel like my Knight is still gonna be better. I can just switch to talon/senator if I need to pop something I would use the volley on.
I love it for overseers, total blasted the torso right off one, easy to kill elevated with it. It cost 2 totals to kill a flesh mob though, I'm just not seeing it do what Eruptor does for me on illuminate.
Haven't tried it for bots but I don't plan on every switching from Deadeye.
I might start using it for bugs but not sure if it will be long term. If they did something like give different pen for each mode or stagger I would totally run it. At the moment it feels like a slugger with half the ammo crossed with a lib. The Total is a great addition but I think it's overkill for almost everything you can kill with light pen.

Armor fucking blows and I also think they glitched it's armor value. Found myself getting the zombie mode triggered out of nowhere several times while testing kt.

You're not fully charging it and/or you're shooting targets past 50 meters. It has the same projectile drag that the pre-buffed Killzone Plasma Accelerator Rifle had. This is a close range AT weapon that gives you tons of ammo in exchange. Yes, it can and does one shot Bile Titans in the face, same with Chargers. Tanks and Cannon Towers are a 1-2 shot depending on the proximity of the AOE splash to the rear vents etc.

That's where you're wrong. First of all, you can climb to high vantage points with the jump packs. You generally cannot call down spare EATs on high vantage points because the swedes hate fun and made most high points bouncy. Secondly, the EAT loses a lot of its power in high mobility situations where you're forced to leave spare EATs behind. EAT is great when you are defending a location and pre-dropping spares for immediate usage. It's less good when you're trying to cover lots of ground quickly. It's also worth noting that the quasar has a higher throughput of shots per minute than the EAT, which is notable when attacking large bot outposts where there are an abundance of AT targets to hit.
