Toroids are a pain without boosters, so set a farm with a buddy and get yourself 500+ of those to be comfortable for a time.
Anything else depends on what/where you are in the game and your progress.
At high level, most vets prefer the Mod chance boosters for farming Void cascades for hours for plat etc.

My issue with this game mode, especially ETA, is that it only takes one Dante to carry the whole team. Maybe also one CC frame for the Defense mission. That's it. It's too strong, and it's too much.
