I don't know where he was getting that idea, Wrecker's lore was about being part of a mystic PMC which use artifacts and conjured beasts to fight proxy wars. The voice lines and general feel of the characters abilities implied a brutality, but the background also refers to them as an "elite soldier" so I doubt they were full on slathering beast. And there's no way they'd use paradox's model as a stand in over like Mo or Abrams if the intention was for them to be a big monster.

But in all honestly I rarely ever come here, I've spent a ton of time doomposting in /poeg/ because the game deserves it and it's funny to shit on the game. I want these games to do well but so often you look at the situation and it's just so over.

So whatever update is coming next, it's got to include some of the leaked hero labs characters. The question is, is it purely going to be hero lab additions, or are some going straight into the normal matchmaking? I think the latter, but I'm not 100% on who would be far enough along to be added that way.

I think these are a pretty safe bet, they either have fully realized kits or we know their models and animations are pretty far along from leaks, or both:

These are less likely because their skills, as we are able to see them, are in a far less complete state but going by leaked portraits perhaps have quite a bit more progress done on their model and animations:

Given how the leaked heroes seem to be having art assets fast-tracked, I think if a beta release is happening, they want a larger, more polished looking roster ready to go for it, so unless the old hero labs characters have gotten spiff-ups we haven't even caught a whiff of, I think they'll stay there in favor of ones in the second category. That said, we still have Vyper and Sinclair as she is, plus of course the Neon Prime rejects of Grey Talon, Bebop, and Yamato.

Why should Grey Talon get to single handedly dictate the balance of Rapid Recharge, which is shit now. Why does it feel like spirit resist does more than bullet resist? I already have 40% bullet resist and bullets still shred me, but if I play Yamato/Lash against someone with 40% spirit res my damage turns into a wet sock.
