I am interested to know: what's your opinion on the Battle Pass, /bag/? Everyone on social media and Steam seem to be so hell bent against it, like you'll have to pay a monthly fee to play the game starting 2026, when that's not how it works. Do you agree with this kind of mentality?

One of my favorite events, and certainly one of the best in awhile. The story that delves deeply into each of the students, in a way that is very natural and organic.
Mika, who reforms and behaves rationally; Ichika, who has grown through learning; Nagisa, who has somewhat regained her essence; Seia, who grasps the big picture while enjoying herself; Kasumi, who reveals a bit more of her motivations—all of them were captivating.
Hasumi and the Gourmet Research Club? They were there. There was a nice parallel between Ichika and Kasumi where Ichika wants to see Mika shine brightly and never lose her sparkle, and Kasumi feels the same towards Megu and it was a key motivating factor for her. And Mika doing her best to set aside a day where Nagisa and Seia can just relax away from their duties, going so far to wrangle everyone else in the group and set aside her prejudice towards Gehenna. It's the kind of feeling you can only get years after being invested in these students and see them actually grow from the original selves.
