What? The Grand Architect specifically said he hates that a group is being looked down upon (Presumably humanity) which is why he's doing anything. It's likely that his entire goal is a solution to the TD problem, but it was something Rover didn't want to do because of the amount of lives that it would cost due to needing Threnodian powers.

Frog was mainly just wracked with survivor's guilt and was pretty much delusional at the point of joining the Fractsidus, but even then it didn't seem like the Grand Architect was using her in any malicious way and will very likely come back to help her out in the future.
Cristoforo is psychotic but he's also reasonable, and he seems to want to play into the Grand Architect's design while getting to play out his scripts.
Scar seems like he's just got Rover on the brain and wants to fight, but even Scar's been quite reasonable overall from the scenes we've had with him and he even gave us a fairly large overview of TDs and how they're not what they seem.

They haven't really convinced us the Fractsidus are evil at all in a broader sense, it's just that they're making choices that would result in countless deaths for whatever their true goal is (Which does seem to be merging every person with a TD to make the Lament functionally irrelevant or something).

Typically the story only finishes near EoS at which point it's rushed to finish the story, or they finish and do a reset then make a brand new game from said reset rather than continuing on that same game. If you think about it why would they ever end their endless money source? It's basically free money to keep making new characters, and in the majority of gacha cases it's literally just a few animations and a static background as a new "map" for updates.

I think Honkai "finished" the story twice now but is still going, however it's split off into HSR as well. Honestly no idea on how either game does its story though.
Kingdom Hearts sort of rushed its finale once EoS was announced and then Dark Road was only finished in the EoS patch itself and that was meant to be essentially a gacha on top of the existing gacha so it was clearly rushed.
Yakuza "finished" its story like four years ago, made an interim OC story like a year after that with Ryuji, and has been coasting on events and crossovers ever since even though the main story ended on a cliffhanger and was never truly finished.

Keep in mind that these Genshin-esque gachas are their own uncharted territory. We have no idea how ToF, Genshin, WuWa, and those other two I don't remember the name of are going to handle it. I assume Genshin will eventually EoS and sell an offline version simply because of how much money was invested into it, whenever WuWa does I expect the same (Though Kuro is still to this day updating PGR so that's decades from now), and ToF seems to still be alive somehow so I don't see that EoSing yet.
