Quite happy with it. All the Digimon are all around great and likable. Not sure about Murasamemon. He'll likely get jobbed a la Leomon in the very first chapter.
I really dig that it's Cyber Sleuth-like, with the bounty hunter/doing cases, and Golden Dawn being like Hudie.
I hope it really succeeds. I'm a lot more interested in this than with Ghost Game. (I didn't even watch the first five episodes pretty much)
The plot isn't all that edgy or oooOoOOo spooky like with Ghost Game which is already great.
Also, no rap-centered/musical theme which is a huge ten out of ten.
Overall, quite happy.

I do agree with you though. Plant Digimon are some of my favourite. Palmon is one of the best Adventure partners. And in the anime we only ready had 2 plant Digimon as partners. Maybe 5 if you count Shurimon and Lotusmon and Floramon girl minor character in 02 Outside of the anime only other ones I remember is the Alias 3 girl from Vtamer and Floramon in Survive

Delumon, Puppetmon, Entmon, Togemon and the Digimental of Purity Digimon are some of my favourite Digimon of all time

I just want a Digimon anime to break back into the mainstream. They captivated us from 1999 to 2006 and it's been failure after failure since then, I mean, Tri, Xross Wars, Appmon? Franchise was dead for a decade. And Ghost Game was an extremely niche anime for kids(? Not sure, it's too violent for that) who like a spooky episodic series. Adults and High-Teens would consider GG too childish or plotless to follow it I believe,i have no clue who the target was but it definitely didn't have the rocks to break the ceiling and make Digimon mainstream again.
Survive could have been that. We have very little horror anime, maybe 1 or 2 a year.
Imagine a well animated, seasonal Survive anime. It would compete with the likes of Summertime Rendering or something in Netflix with people talking about it everywhere, I want a Digimon season managing that.

Savers and Adventure needed it though. Savers had a perfectly good plot they rushed through (Royal Knights, only enough screen time for half) and the Demon Lords got outright relegated to the videogames. Those were worthy of a main plot.
And it's Adventure's only real fault. You got the nice File Island intro, the Crest / Perfect evo episodes, the legendary Myotismon saga... And when things are at their peak and the ultimate evil dudes that control the entire world and subjugated the Gods show up, you get the Dark Masters crammed into an arc shorter than Devimon's, only Piedmon got proper focus and maybe Puppetmon.
