I've been playing since day 1, religiously doing 99% of all dailies and weeklies, and most events, (while skipping some story), I've never been one to go for META or min/max and stuff like that, so I've been taking my sweet time just hoarding and enjoying whatever. However last week I got really hooked into the story mode and wanna do campaign as far as I can.

I have never opened a single "core/exp" box, should I do that now as I hit the wall? I can't kill this boss, I know the team is horrible I just put the hightest CP's to skip the campaigns with no story.

1) Should I just full send my shit and use all my boxes? Or use just a bit till I get over this wall.
2) In these cases, is CP better or is the team better? Or both?
3) Any suggestions in general appreciated.

Okay I reread your post. Post your nikkers. You seem to have meta nikkers so even if you're not good at the game 10% deficit should be easy to play. Blue numbers means there's no penalty->more levels is just a small increase, you failing here means you are either just autoing with a bad team or don't understand the boss mechanics at all. Ultra has 2 mechanics, it charges and does a stun (just cover) and spits poison (just cover). It's that simple. Redhood burst 3 murders this boss because it pierces cores+poison sacs, same goes for rapi redhood burst 3. With 270k pow you can unironically go past ch 31 normal and somewhere in hard 16?17?maybe a bit more.
Here's some simple meta teams
siren-crown-rapiredhood-redhood-helm(treasure). If no helm then naga or rapunzel. If you want to play modernia then that in place of redhood. If no siren then rapiredhood as b1. If no crown then play tia naga or blanc/rouge or blanc/noir. If you get stuck you can just youtube the stage too, you'll see clears at lower power with outdated teams, so it should be easier than it looks. Anyway, post your nikkes and whoever is your waifu (if you want to use her always) and anons will make you a team. You probably haven't upgraded dolls at all I guess, that's even more leftover power.

Crown isn't missing from from your pilgrim list so put her in. Her shield can cheese so many mechanic's like that boss' slam attack and she is the strongest character in the game, everyone else is replaceable except her.

I don't know your treasure status so Crown, Siren, Red Hood, flex b3 and Naga would be the best team you can field. If you have t.Helm then she replaces Naga.

Don't pop your boxes until you've progressed as much as you can on normal and hard mode to get the most out of them.

However in nikke if you spend 20k gems you're getting back 18k in rewards and improved resources, plus it lets you clear the content (remember people weren't clearing things at the start, we didnt have dolls, or super broken units and we were stuck at chapter 13 for 2 weeks). Same with blue archive and refreshing for character shards, you get more shards meanwhile the plat rewards were static even if you got top 100 or top 3k, so in games like those you waste income for a slight advantage, while in nikke you use your income so you don't lose on half your income and get raped by dolphins.

Ingrid assigns the Commander and Absolute with the task of retrieving Wings of Victory and escorting NIKKEs with them, being Elegg, Centi, and Sora. The Counters are left out this time around. It's located within a desert and a sandstorm hits that separates everyone but Nayuta shows up and helps guide them all to safety and she explains that Storm Bringer is the one behind the sandstorms and it has a home field advantage here. Sora teases Eunhwa because it's obvious she has feelings for the Commander and they have a sort of rivalry over him throughout the event. Eventually they find Wings of Victory as Elegg and Centi start working on it with Elegg also referencing the Tetrapod, but Storm Bringer shows up and Absolute fight it off, then multiple more Storm Bringers show up and Wings of Victory's offensive weaponry is brought back online as the Commander with Sora take all the Storm Bringers down like they're nothing. Nayuta disappears as if she was a mirage and Wings of Victory is recovered successfully with the hard mode ending leading into Cielo's event. The Solo Raid boss this month is also Storm Bringer but Iron Code this time.
