If you're interested in playing the new season what you're going to want to do is farm enough honor to get all the honor pieces next week(i think its around 10k, note that you can get a vicious flask to increase your honor gains), on the week of august 12th you will spam epic bg until you get a win
then you get a quest item that will give you 9 craft pvp tokens
almost everyone uses these to make their rings and neck, you will put your embellishments on the rings and or neck, its irrelevant as to what slot
after you've crafted your shit you're good to que up
if you're a caster player the precog gem is mandatory, you could probably get away without it if you're playing mage or ele shaman tho tho
you get gem slots for 5000 honor and 3 vicious bloodstones
alot of people use the gem damage embellishment so youll want a non bloodstone gem slot as well so you get value from that, its like 3% overall damage usually
as you know youll get one catalyst charge the first week of the season and a second for getting aotc, ksm, or 1600 in solo shuffle/arena
there is an item available to upgrade your pve tier set pieces to also be max pvp ilvl, i actually believe there are two items because of the cost, so one does chest legs helm for 875 conquest and the other does shoulders/gloves for 700
you will get 1600 conquest in the first week of the season and its always used on the tier slots
after that youll want to head to a third party website to look at top players builds, how they're allocating their stats, what embellishments they're using, and what tier slots they take for the most competitive edge

Coming back to this game I am devastated to find the one button assist is not only a thing but is doing better damage than most players. Without optimizing rotations and GCD spamming PVE will be a boring slopfest. That was one of the new joys I had left in this game.

The only thing you could possibly benefit from as a player who knows his class through and through is that it automatically casts placed spells onto target (like Blizzard, Death and Decay, Volley).

I view DK like a utility tank... which now going to get gimped.
They can position mobs better, which is a big plus in a lot of cases. Problem is they're like the paperiest tanks there is because their gimmick is negating magic damage and increasing healing taken. How they handle physical damage is so much worse than every other tank. Increased healing is nice and all, but very irrelevant in higher tier shit when everythings going to slap right through all but one of their CD's.
And that's a problem with this expansion, so many dungeons either have extreme physical damage to beat them down, or plenty of casters that they can't even make use of their speciality with because the casters target group members randomly, agro be damned.
Biggest thing going for them is balling mobs up more efficiently to burn them all down faster, but Blizz decided that's too much fun, gimp that.

Of course I could just as easily be bad, but that's my experience through S1 and S2 so far for TWW. I felt like I could handle a lot more in DF.

They literally have no idea what they are doing at this point with regards to classic. Classic should have ended on Wrath, and for that they should have kept 2 servers:
Server No.1: Everything scaled up to level 80, no progress reset (like diablo's Eternal Realm).
Server No.2: Everything upscaled to level 80, everything resets every 2 years ("seasonal") with higher drop rates in dungeons and raid sto compensate for 10 tiers in 2 years.
And that's it. And upscaling of all dungeons and all raids to level 80 would be good there so that people would be able to do vanilla-tbc-wrath raiding endlessly with real tier 1 to 10 progression.

It was horrifically lazy back then and now it's just ridiculous because if they are just ethereals why do they act like entirely different people other than their trading gimmick? The suit thing is just retarded too. First of all one of the whole things about the shadowlands was outsiders can't really enter. If brokers are just ethereals then why do they need different clothes that hasn't been explained, we entered shadowlands physically just fine and shadowlands citizens can leave just fine, so what's the problem? Then the suits themselves are retarded because why do they look so different? Why do they have flaming heads and crooked legs? Like it's clearly not just different clothes it's so wildly different that calling it a "suit" just doesn't make sense.
