I agree trying to play salefa at 7-9 is a struggle since she's pretty much a do nothing without evo but the priest actually does stuff. Against rune and abyss mid abyss especially the priest does some heavy lifting dealing with midgame/denying spellboost from shikigamis and against midbyss you can sometimes deny charon a 2 drop and is generally high value in a grind where thunder would just remove medusa/ginsetsu the priest will leave a decent body behind

I'm bringing spellboost rune to the tourney myself so I shouldn't complain but yes, the dclimb-satan interaction is bad and needs to be reworked. The mirror matches in particular are awfully coinflippy.
If I had had the time to learn roach I would have picked that just to avoid the rune mirrors, but even then roach vs roach doesn't look that fun either.

Well, playing aggro blood is kind of coin flippy too but at least it's fast and a little more fun in my opinion.

It's not + you have to deal with the sword match-up which can be tough depending on the build.
